I'd go for the manga. You can understand at least half of it just by looking at the pictures.

I want the tour guide for the official art though.
What's Carte Routiere? I haven't seen it in the official site unless I've been blinded xD But the manga, wow, I hope someone would scanlate it XD Sting really is giving me a hard time :< I hope my munney will be enough to buy these x.x ~~~ |

Actually, when I read the katakana for the "Tour Guide"...
I think it's supposed to be Yggdra Union The Complete Guide. In play-asia (And maybe other places) it's named Tour Guide because of mistake. This manga isn't really following the storyline of the game, it's mostly funny short stories by different artists. I don't have this manga yet...maybe when it's in bookstores here... ~~~  |

Well, unlike the artguide, this is actually reasonably priced, so feel free to import. It's like 800 something yen, which would be around 8 USD.
And if someone does get it and scan it (I'm not willing to take the thing apart if I get it), I do know someone who could probably scanlate it. She's been doing Tales-of doujinshi scanlations for a long time now. ~~~ |

I never really went for the art, since it's all Milanor and Yggdra and Gulcasa (two of which I don't like, guess which ones). Unless it includes almost all the characters, I'll skip out on the
