Hi, newbie here... I sketched the top part of Aegina from her portrait but randomly drew the bottom, so it doesn't look proportionate...

Is there anything I should do to make it look better? Thanks very much in advance =D

Kinda hard to see, since it's kind of light so... But I'll give it a shot.

From the waist up doesn't look so bad, but yeah as you said the bottom half looks really odd. She looks like she has no hips or anything, what you could do is do what you have but you need to like er... Give her hips... Yeah.

And I'd think, perhaps, she might wear armor for bottom. I'm not sure as we obviously can't go off the sprite but... This is better then I can do.

Argh sorry if I sound weird, I'm a horrible art examiner-person.

I agree with Suzu on the top vs bottom thing.

From the waist down I'd assume she'd have similar valkyrie armor, since she is, after all, a valkyrie.

If that's a first attempt, then it's a decent try. You appear to have potential, you just need to learn a few things.

Nice...though a bit bright.

I've been thinking in doing a full body sketch of Aegina for sometime now, but I've been busy (why must I have so many good ideas? >_<).

Anyway, I'd do it in of of two ways:
- Lower body armor like a valkyrie's but with more protection...seems like Bronquia soldiers/generals like to protect themselves real good...
or
- Grab the Revolution card and base the rest of Aegina's armor on Nirvana's... which could work. Oh, and let's not forget...more armor! lol

Not really sure how to draw armor, the valkyrie's seems kind of short and hard for me to sketch, so I tried to make it resemble the Revolution girl's dress...

Hope it looks better now... Thanks a lot for the help =D

Hmmmm... Maybe try to 'slim' the top of her armor down a bit? As it stands now it looks like she has this huge top half and then all of a sudden she's skinny and weak-looking... >.>;

Try to make the top of her armor more 'hugging' perhaps? I wouldn't suspect her armor is very loose fitting, if it's of plate mail design it's probably rather snug.
