Anyone ever play the Suikoden games? I have. I liked 1,2, and 3. I didn't really like 4 as much though. They're all so involved..

I liked 2 and 3 the best of them. 1 was still good, but 2 and 3 IMO, had better storylines. I'll never forget Suikoden 2's scenes, they were just..amazing.

To shift the topic around a litte; what are your favourite characters?

I liked The Masked Bishop (You know who I mean) [S3], Sasarai (S3), Sarah (S3), Yuber (All of the games), Albert Silverberg (just because he's a total bishie) [S3], Jowy (S2), and I can't think of any more at this time ><

Suikoden was Konami testing the waters. It wasn't great, but it was good. The art sucked ass though, hated the style.

Suikoden II was (and still is) my favorite entry in the series for its numerous memorable characters and the plot twists and even though the main character doesn't talk, he has a LOT of characterization.

Suikoden III is a 'love it or hate it' game. I for the record, LOVED it. The partner system was a really great breath of fresh air, and NO character was superfluous. EVERY character was useful in some way, unlike the first two entries where there were some obvious suck ass characters.

Suikoden IV wasn't great, but it was still good. It starts off slow, but ends on a pretty good note. I liked the main character, but the story was kinda weird. It just didn't have quite the impact as the three previous installments.

Haven't played Suikoden Tactics yet.

I'll be getting the Limited Edition of Suikoden V.

I really loved Suikoden 3. Especially that 'secret' scenario.

Suikoden 4, I didn't like that much. I liked how the wars were done in it though. The thing I didn't like about it was the stupid boat travelling system. Couldn't go 2 inches ahead without there being a battle =/ at least, it was that way for me.

I loved Suikoden 3. Suikoden 4 was ok. Yeah, like Kohaku said, too many random encounters. I liked the boat-tactics-thingy, but it was way too easy.

I can send Suikoden 2 to you as well, you just need a CD burner and a blank CD.
