Well I'm planning on getting a PSP next month (for the Riviera PSP I've had for the past year) and I was wondering if I should get the old PSP or the new one.
I heard that the new one is about $50 more expensive than the old one and that it has a slightly longer battery life. I also have a small list of games I'm planning on getting - Dissidia Final Fantasy - DJ Max Fever - Tales of the World : Radiant Mythology (heard it wasn't so great, but I want to try it) - Final Fantasy VII : Crisis Core (can borrow) - YU:PSP - Valkyrie Profile (can borrow) - Patapon - Final Fantasy Tactics : War of Lions - Jeanne D'Arc - Sonic Rivals (1+2) Any input (gamewise or PSPwise) is greatly appreciated This post has been edited by DustyHaru: Aug 30 2008, 09:18 PM |

Definitely get the slim PSP. It loads things slightly faster, the speakers are not in a crappy place, and it's SO much lighter than the original.

Apropos button-smashing, a lot of usually unavoidable gimmicks in the level require you to do so, which is quite annoying. Overall the levels are a bit too laden with such things. Anyway, yeah. It's not that bad but I'd suggest getting Rivals 2 first. |

Valkan you fool. I know what DJ Max is. I even told you when I got DJ Max Portable. And told you that it was a million times better than Guitar Hero.
