I'm having trouble barbecuing Griffon Riders... *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*, Is there's something wrong with my grill? Options

First things first:

1. I know I need to use the Flame skill on a Griffon Rider in the final clash that depletes her Morale. I also know that as long as you Steal Emilia's equipment, you can grill her, too.
   
2. I know the Flame card can only be used when a Rod user is the Ace in the Union. Everyone else can use it as well once that condition is met.
   
3. I know I can only have one Grilled Griffon/Dragon Steak in my inventory at a time.

Now here's the problem: I got a Grilled Griffon easily back in BF16 or 17 and consumed it right away. Now I'm in BF25 where there are two Griffon Riders and Emilia. I can't grill Emilia yet due to her higher Morale, but I can easily take out the other two Griffon Riders with the Flame card as the skill used in the fatal clashes. Unfortunately, those two Griffon Riders simply don't drop the Grilled Griffon. I went back and checked my inventory and character equipments--nope, no existing Grilled Griffon. I tried again and again and again, but no matter what I did, neither Roswell nor Nietzsche could get it to drop even when they actually finish off the Griffon Riders with the Flame skill rather than simply using the Flame skill during the fatal clashes.

I really can't figure out what's wrong. I read on the JP wiki that both Grilled Griffon and Dragon Steak are "一度のみ可能" (one-time only) items, but from what I've read in various English forums, I'm under the impression that Grilled Griffon is something I can get repeatedly as long as I don't have one in my inventory. Am I missing something here?

Or with the "Ace All" effect, from equipment or class.

Anyways. I don't know if you can get them multiple times, that just seems a bit too broken for them to allow. Ask anyone who claims you can get it multiple times per game if they, themselves, have.

Aye, I know about "Ace All" equipments, but if there's a class with Ace-all, I'd presume it to be the temporary Dragon Knight class, yes?

I see. I normally trust the JP wiki more than what I read on forums, but because the JP wiki never actually explicitly stated GG can only be obtained once per game, I wasn't sure. Even that portion I quoted could've been interpeted as "only once per level" based on the context. Also, as I scan through the BFs that involve Griffon Riders, the various notes and user comments that do mention GG can "only be obtained once" are open to interpretation as they didn't state whether they meant "once per level" or "once per playthrough".
