Roleplay, I needs help! D= Options

I was thinking of making a roleplay based on/around Yggdra Union - I'd be making it on [Acornrack].

Only, I'm having some trouble. I'm not really sure if I should set it after or before the game, or do something entirely different. >_>;;

If anyone has any ideas or thoughts, I'd love to hear 'em. ^^
