For all those college/university savvy people that might know something.

Get an air bed, a vacuum cleaner, and a washable bag to put in your dirty clothes.
Walk a lot? Get shoes and your own pair of soles. Screw flip flops. They just don't work. Small set of tools. Who knows, one day your chair might break and you'll need a freakin' hex to screw it up back together. And uh, you should learn how to cook a variety of foods.
