A pinch of cynicism is all that you need. Either you wipe out some, half or all human civilization or waging a small, surgical "tactical wars" that will cost billions plus the negative responses you get from the masses due to the media hype/attention.
I've lost nearly all of my idealist side thinking about this matter. Utopias and fantasies are only child's play. Objectivity and reality is the real man's play. And to PPA, I think that is the most reasonable opinion that fits my thoughts completly. Utter loyalty and extreme nationalism will not bring much good, except more xenophobia and similar stuffs. Hopefully that will be an achievable ideal for me and the world. ~~~  Governance is frickin hard. |
