I have to say while that render does look badass, giving Sonic a weapon of whatever kind is so damn out of character it's not even funny anymore. HE'S NATURE. HE FIGHTS WITH ONLY HIS BODY. DAMMIT.

EDIT: Fuck, I typo'd "Knight". Could someone with topic title editing powers fix that for me please?

Actually Sonic Chronicles isn't bad. It's a pretty solid rpg, and the references to the sidescrollers and more recent games are pretty funny.

The story's not all over the place like in Sonic Battle (which was not a bad game, mind you).

True. But still too many half-assed characters. And really - who wants Big on their team? I love cats (This is why I tend to badmouth Blaze the least out of all the new guys), but Big is an atrocity.

Agreed. Sonic Battle was a lot of fun, but I hated how the storyline was so jumpy and the area were limited. And that Emerl was never seen again, unless you count Sonic Advance 3.
