Weird question! With a straight answer I hope xD. Options

Hello all! I love the game, and this was one of the few forums of Riviera out there, so I figured I'd join... in any case, I have a question.

By looking at the map it seems to me that Riviera is a continent in an earth type planet... but at the same time, the pictures suggest that it's floating in the air.

Is Riviera a floating continent or what? I know it's a pretty weird question to ask, but I'd like to know.

Ya know, I've been thinking about this.



It seems that the Mirabys is another island, right? It has Lacrima on it, so that explains why Fia and Lina needed a magic circle to get there, and if this holds true, then that means Vestiah and the thing containing Heaven's Gate are also different islands.

And what are Kasa, Feinoir, Granteese, the section that holds Nelde, and Valhalla? Are they like provinces or regions or what?

And why do we never get to visit many of them?


And another thing: In the possibly province/region Valhalla, what the heck are those lumpy things that look like they're surrounding a pit or something?

THIS IS CONFUSING!
