Alright, basically the point of this thread is to post various builds you made up for various Pokemon. They don't have to be tested builds, they don't have to even be good builds, so long as they're builds. Anyways, alongside posting the build, I want you to post how the build works, what it would be used for and what it shouldn't be used for. You know, like what it counters and what it should avoid.

Format:

Pokemon Name
Ability
Move 1
Move 2
Move 3
Move 4
Item

The "How it works"

What it counters

What counters it/What it should avoid

I guess I'll start.

#091 Cloyster
Ability: Skill Link
Clamp
Icicle Spear
Spike Cannon
Sleep Talk
Item: Shell Bell

Basically, how this Cloyster would work is that you'd swap it in to fight any Pokemon that puts opponents to sleep, and uses Attack as their basic damage stat. You would have the Cloyster fall asleep, and would use Sleep Talk so that any of the other three moves would be used. Clamp would be used to prevent the opponent from swapping out once they realized what they got into, and Icicle Spear and Spike Cannon are the main damage dealers.

Now I know you may be thinking "Why Icicle Spear and Spike Cannon? Those attacks suck!" Well basically, Icicle Spear gives it STAB (so does Clamp, by the way) and Spike Cannon is just there. Both moves have low damage but hit 2-5 times. Cloyster's ability, Skill Link, makes it so that both of these abilities will ALWAYS hit five times, unless one of the attacks miss (which isn't likely.) It would regenerate health on each time one of the attacks connects, due to its Shell Bell. That could lead to a lot of healing.

You would generally use this Cloyster against Rhia's Crobat, or any other Pokemon that induces sleep and relies on Attack, like Breloom. But you'd especially use this against Rhia's Crobat, because it only has one actual damaging attack, and that's Pluck. Plus Icicle Spear would beat it out with super-effective STAB.

You wouldn't use this on anything that induces sleep and relies on Special Attack as its damage stat. Actually, you wouldn't even use this on anything that uses Special Attack regardless, because Cloyster's special attack is very blah.

You make Doublehawk cry over its ugly teeth. :( SO THEN:

Steelix
Ability: Sturdy
Curse
Flail
Gyro Ball
Earthquake or something more interesting
Item: Leftovers

Ideally, the Steelix would have extremely low Speed (and I mean low even for a Steelix) but really high Defense. Make sure its Attack and HP are decent, too. That's probably important. The idea is to use Curse a few times (two is a nice number), and then use Gyro Ball to just smash everything while you sit there invincible to everything that isn't Special. If you get low on HP by some crazy miracle (Counter would probably be the most likely thing to do that to you), use Flail until it gets recovered to decent health. I actually don't remember how strong Flail is, but I think I remember it hurting when low on HP. I just don't know when it would cease being more powerful than Gyro Ball. The fourth move should just be something useful. Like, I don't know. Maybe if someone sends out a Steel-type Pokemon. Because Gyro Ball and Flail aren't going to be that great against a Steel-type.

It basically counters anything that frequently uses physical attacks, especially if they're fast. But it's countered by CHANSEY WITH COUNTER and anything that uses special attacks, really. Slow things will be somewhat of a probem for it, as well, since Gyro Ball won't do as much. There I posted I hope you're happy Sauce. :(

BY THE WAY I THINK THAT IF ANYONE TRIES THESE OUT, THEY SHOULD SAY HOW WELL IT SEEMS TO WORK.
