There is not one notable American band that still exists and has existed for a decent length of time, besides Manowar, that utilizes high pitched male vocals ( Example, Sonata Arctica, Muse, Queen ) without trying to justify themselves with their fashion attire, lifestyle, etc, yet are still at least fairly successful or well known in the country.

There are a few American bands that utilize this technique, but the majority of them are not known in America, but may be far well more recognized around the globe ( Example, Scissor Sisters ).


TL;DR AMERICA IS HOMOPHOBIC AND THINKS HIGH PITCHED VOCALS ARE GAY
