Seiken Densestu Series, aka Mana Series (Secret of Mana, Children of Mana, Legend of Mana...) Options

Anyone else like this series of games?
(I've played most of them)

I've been playing ever since I've watched my Cousins play Secret of Mana on the SNES (which they still have, I play it whenever I visit)

Is this the your first time through the game?

The Ghost ship isn't too hard, just make sure that you have you leave behind your weakest character (if you read the ship's log, that character will be cursed and you'll have to leave him/her behind)

try to have full puipui grass/stardust herbs, because the boss will continually stats down your characters. (I think it's mostly hit rate and attack power)

I'm up to the Beast King (I chose Kevin as my initial character) but all the swarm of werewolfs in the castle kill me really quickly so I'm getting my characters to 2nd class.

My Party is:
-Kevin; Monk ->God Hand
-Hawke; Ninja -> Nightblade
-Lise/Reisz; Valkyire ->Vanadis

If the spoilers were unnecessary, sorry =P

I haven't played Legend, but I have played Children of Mana, and I've seen my friend play Dawn of Mana.
I didn't really like the lack of Alternative caracters in Children of Mana tbh.
