Anyone who's thinking about going into game dsign as a career, my honest advice to you is don't. Not only does it take a massive amount of effort that goes to waste, the industry also sucks.
I know two people working/worked in the game industry, and it's one of the WORST industries ever. One of them kept getting fired because the people he was working with were dicks so he had to hop from job to job, each with more assholes than the last. The other's stuck at a dead end position and quit because everyone he worked with was pretty much a fuckface. He ended up being a normal non-game programmer. Seriously, don't. |
