As a great game, it's only gone so far. It's a humble handheld epic that tells a good, albeit quite cliched, story, but has quickly become one of my favorite GBA games that I won't soon forget about. Why not go further? What about a console sequel or perhaps a manga or anime series, to include an OVA as an option? Get the people to know of this great game somehow. I hope that Riviera doesn't end with one unknown GBA spiritual sequel and a PSP remake.
Is it possible that the creators might try to expand Riviera's future someday?

If a certain article's claim of a Dengeki Maoh interview is to be believed, Shinichi Ito is working on a game featuring the third world of the Riviera universe. Considering the various designs shown on JaJa's blog of an isometric SRPG using Riviera and Yggdra Union materials, it's not exactly far-fetched.

So it's going to be in a ghetto?
