Yes, but unlike the 80% in America, in Japan everyone has a cell phone. I only know one girl in my school without one. (Or wait, she really has one but she got banned from using it for a long time for some reason so she just tells everyone she doesn't have one.) Cell phones are much more accessible, everyone brings their cell phones to school and plays crappy games during lunch. Bringing a gameboy would be impossible because it would be confiscated.
Though I am in a high school. >_< I still think everyone in Japan has a cell phone though. |
