Even Kylier said that she felt sorry for him. And I understand completely where she's coming from. No matter what I did to piss off the gods, whether I deserved the punishment or not, I think I would be hell-bent on getting even too if they'd ripped my wings off, blinded me, kicked me out of my home, and made it impossible for me to die. And don't forget, in the end, Ness decides to trust Yggdra. I think that says a lot about his character.
He has a few screws loose and he can be a royal pain, but I pity him.
Whereas Hector doesn't seem to have any apparent reason for what he does. It's like he's going, "Gee, the gods are gone, I want their power now! Why? What do you mean, why? I just want it!"
Therefore Nessiah > Hector.
Again: Stick Hector with Marietta. We still have no clue why she turned evil either. :D
Marietta: *sulks*
