Pretty good port. I'm playing from an ISO so I'm unsure how the load times are, Sturm'll have to fill those holes in. The sprites are a bit sloppy (forgivable), the artwork is detailed high resolution stuff (I love it), the special effects are spiffy but nothing to write home about, the game is FULLY voice acted (every little thing from normal event dialogue to mundane tasks), and they directly used the Arrange Soundtrack for the game. Though, the PSP wasn't designed to be as rapid-fire friendly as the GBA, so the stuff like "Press O repeatedly" tasks become more difficult because of this.
All in all, I'm quite satisfied with it. |

Anyway, the PSP does have a small Sleep-like feature built in to it. You just flick the power switch and it goes into the mode... But that only kind of works if Riviera is the only game you're playing on your PSP. And even then, it definitely wouldn't be the same :( |
