I never said Item Break is better than Steal... O_o
Okay then, you said Item Break is not useless but I say it is because Steal is a better card. So for Item Break to not be useless, it must be better than Steal in some sort of situation.
QUOTE
Yet only useable once.
For each time the cards are replenished, and you have two chances to use it each time. One when you attack, one when the enemy attacks.
QUOTE
Assuming you get both.
I'll admit, I haven't used Mind Change much but it's a very powerful card if the conditions are fulfilled.
QUOTE
We were not talking about evening the playing field, recall, we were talking about saving the Hunter/Assassin when they get attacked. Killing a unit or two will not save their ass.
Making the enemy drop dead faster is one way of saving their ass. If one or two units won't save them, how about dealing fatal damage then?
QUOTE
I was saying what if he's on the other side of the map or something.
Steal has 12 MOV so moving large distances wouldn't be too much of a problem. Some maps are quite large though, but Milanor would usually be with the group anyway because of early chances of getting stat bonuses from MVPs during the beginning of the game, his stats would be higher and would be a force to reckon with.
QUOTE
It's not his nature to hog MVPs, it's YOUR nature to overuse him.
Except his stats are superior to Yggdra and Durant during the beginning and the plethora of spear units during battlefields 3 to 7. Because Milanor has higher stats as well, he could also take on an initiative attack from a Fencer as well. Yggdra on the other hand, wouldn't win against Knights unless she got a critical. That's 4 battlefields where Milanor is the unit of choice. That means a maximum of 8 stat bonuses, not including the very easy MVP in BF01. Because of this, this would naturally make Milanor your unit of choice later on because of these MVPs, that means Milanor's stats would be even higher. I'm sure others here that played the game also overused Milanor on their first playthrough simply because Milanor is that good.
QUOTE
Fighting the enemy that has Etherion is not signing a death certificate. It's very easy to get a critical on said enemy.
Using Steal requires the head unit to be active. Criticals will ruin that condition.
