Does anyone here play an instrument of any kind?
From what I've heard, music apparently affects children - mostly teenagers - in a very dramatic way. By music, I am not refering to "modern" music listened to by children every day, but rather more along the lines of classical music, and less "violent" music so to speak. Children who play musical instrument supposedly do better academically than children whom do not. I personally play the violin. ~~~ “Every path has its puddleâ€

Modern is an incredibly broad term. There are classical composers today you know.
I play Piano/Keyboard, Used to Play French Horn, and am also able to play Guitar, Recorder and a little Drums. Nothing Huge though. They haven't really helped me in school at all aside from Music of course.
