It bothers me how episode 14 seems like a better ending than the actual chornological ending (episode 9). But then again, the fact that they made the messed up airing order of the episodes work together is quite impressive.

Notice how the titles are always "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" until episode six, whereafter the titles become random titles relating to the the events in that particular episode. This is probably hinting torwards the fact that episode 14 (6) is the "climax" of the series, and all events after that are really just "extensions".
