Show why the statement does not prove what it's trying to prove.

1. "Don't listen to him. He's just a troll."

QUOTE (lightningdude)
1. Victims of rape aren't the only ones who get abortions.

But making abortions illegal would stop them from getting abortions.

QUOTE (lightningdude)
2. He is saying that there aren't any reasons to be against abortion other than being cruel and heartless. This is untrue because I could personally think of a couple of reasons that abortion shouldn't be legalized. (but this isn't a debate so I won't elaborate)

Appealing to a better outcome. Saying that something is right because if it is not, the outcome is unpleasant. Saying that legalizing abortion is right because if you don't, it's cruel to the rape victims.

QUOTE (lightningdude)
3. He doesn't allow for fence riders, people like Rai who don't have a stance on abortion.

Bifurcation. Falsely claiming that there are only two possibilities. Bifurcation also uses "Straw Man", which is basically interpreting an opponent's argument incorrectly before attacking the wrong interpretation of the argument.

There's probably more to be done here. Keep going.
