| QUOTE | | So now I'm supposed to think you're a better person because you make generalizations based on what you think your friends believe? |
No, that's actually what he told me.
| QUOTE | | Read my first post again. It says that you must affect something else to have purpose, because if you don't, your existence doesn't matter. If it doesn't matter whether or not you existed, how can you have a reason for existence? |
May I ask who came up with the "fact" that if you don't affect anything, you don't have purpose? What doesn't affect anything around it? If you can give me an example, then I will forfeit.
| QUOTE | | In other words, you admit that you had no idea what I was talking about and were just wasting my time. |
For one, I am just thinking of this stuff off the top of my head when I sit down at the computer, so I didn't really take much time to organize my thoughts. (I know that's not an excuse, but oh well, I said it anyway)
Given that, I tried, in vain, to disprove the "Everything" part, failing to realize that it was an all-inclusive generality. Yeah, I know, that sounds kinda dumb, but I don't care. I should have come into the battle better equipped. Yes, I do admit to that.
