| QUOTE (Shadow) | | Hahaha. Now because I don't do what you've said in this topic I'm a rebel. |
No, you idiot. I called you a rebel (sarcastically) because you tried to excuse your total lack of understanding about the point of this topic with, "That's not my problem."
| QUOTE (Shadow) | | Also, this topic isn't the world. |
Good job. I'm glad you figured that out. Unfortunately, you missed the obvious: my line about the world not working that way was clearly referring to your thinking that you can do whatever you want with the excuse "that's not my problem", and had nothing to do with how the topic works.
And even if I did mean that the topic is the world, how would it make sense? What, would the topic kill you if you did whatever you wanted?
In fact, how did you even draw the conclusion that I associated the topic with the world? You must be pretty dense to think that, or pretty desperate. Your attempt to make me look stupid has only succeeded in making yourself look stupid. Again.
| QUOTE (Shadow) | But well, if you do manage what the other people have to say, go on. For some reason, forums are public. |
Actually, forums are private. Don't worry, you're not alone in your ignorance.
There IS no such thing as freedom of speech in an online forum. Whoever controls the board can restrict any ideas they want, and the courts can't do anything about it.
I once had an argument with someone who believed that he could say anything he wanted in a chat room I ran, and complained when he was kicked for speaking Spanish after being told not to by one of the moderators. When I told him that no, he did not have freedom of speech in the chat room, he claimed that his right to speech was guaranteed by the government. When I pointed out to him that the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States made it clear that it was only the GOVERNMENT which could not make laws to restrict speech, he said that, since he was in Spain, he was protected under those laws. I then had to point out that not only was I not in Spain, the owner of the site wasn't in Spain, and the site was not hosted in Spain, so even if the European Union somehow voted in a law to guarantee that no one in Europe could stop him from saying whatever he wanted (which was fairly improbable), those laws do not apply to me, and furthermore, if he had a problem with that, he could try to sue me under this law he claims exists.
| QUOTE (Shadow) | | Stop answering my posts then. Ignore them and I will not have anything to say. |
Turning this topic into showing how not clever you are is called "continuing the discussion". Bringing up your ideas when nobody asked for them and when they have nothing to do with the purpose of the topic is called "missing the point and deliberately trying to steer the topic another way".
I have no problem with showing everyone the gap between how smart you think you are and how smart you actually are; otherwise, I would've stopped responding to you a while back.
| QUOTE (Shadow) | | EDIT: Also, yes. This made the topic went off track. Sorry for that. So This'll be my last words in this topic. |
Yes, the freedom to leave is one freedom that you have.
