I didn't make that one up, I went and looked it up in a dictionary, just to make sure. In the philosophical sense, if it is the reason for one's existence, how can you judge what something's purpose is by how it affects others? Don't we have purpose because we believe that we have purpose? When you say that the sum of all includes everything, excludes nothing, and that there is nothing outside that sum, then it is impossible to prove you wrong. I'm not saying that I concede, I am just saying that you have come up with something that is logically impossible to disprove, due to its general and vague nature.
