Ugh, seeing a live-action Riviera would bother me too much. I don't see a too much of a problem with a OVA with a set ending, other then the anime team messing up the basic storyline or trying to add an abundance of fanservice.
Then again, there's all ready quite a number of harem anime, and there's not too much to separate Riviera from the rest. Yeah, it'd appeal to the fans (or some of them at least), but probably not enough to make it profitable venture.
