Basic Field Controls:
+ Cursor/Unit Movement
A Select, Unit Select, Movement Settlement
B Cancel, Hold to display status
L Display main menu
R Auto-select unit, Fast forward dialogue messages
START Display target selection screen
SELECT Unit icon display toggle, Detailed status display

Basic Battle Controls:
+ Change attack mode *
A Use A-Type skill
B Charge B-Type skill, Use
L Pause to display unit information
R Pause to display skill information
START Pause, Cancel Pause
SELECT Not used

Controls for Various Menu Screens:
+ Cursor Movement
A Select
B Cancel
L Differs depending on menu screen
R Differs depending on menu screen
START Differs depending on menu screen
SELECT Differs depending on menu screen



* Attack mode referring to Aggressive/Passive. Hold left to go into passive mode and charge up the meter (no attacking), hold right to go into aggressive mode and use up the meter (attacks more powerful).

Yes thanks alot for the control settings.
Now when I get the game I will have the upper hand of knowing what each button does without reading the instruction booklet/ learning about it in the game!!!
