Because Sturm thinks that it's better to be funny and ironic than to show all of you that you are not guaranteed freedom of speech.

It is better.
But if you truly want people to see, post it again.

It was a quote from the European Union that guarantees that freedom of speech could not be restricted by public authorities, and afterwards I point out that Sturm is not a public authority, even if he was living in the EU.

Then it was a quote from the US Constitution where it guaranteed freedom of speech, and I point out that it specifies that Congress is the one who can't restrict speech, and Sturm isn't Congress.

Actually, you don't get freedom of speech here because your 'freedoms' are not protected by the Constitution or anything because this site is privately owned, which means the people who own and run the site are entitled to tell you what you can or cannot say, as opposed to public locales since they're not privately owned. On the internet, however, noting is 'publically owned' so you're not guaranteed freedom of speech.

Next person to bitch about freedom of speech gets a ban.

you're probably right.

i bet people who see Freedom of Speech think: you can say anything you want. where and when.

i thought that way first, too :\
but hey, i was a kid when i first heard it.
