Bizarre Creations, the guys behind Geometry Wars have released a new flashy game on the Xbox Live Arcade. Boom Boom Rocket! It's a music game with fireworks! You basically detonate the fireworks with the music, and... Stuff... It's really great. Mostly classical remixes for the music, and it seems there will be download content in the future (more songs, assuredly). When you Watch me and Rhea test out the multiplayer*
There's also a mode for listening to music on your 360 (or your iPod or PSP or whatever through your 360) and letting it shoot off fireworks in time with the music. It's not so great though, because of how it manages, but "SIN" went awesome with it. >_>  * The song is titled "Hall of the Mountain Dude" and is a remix of "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg. 800 points, and I'd say this is probably easier, because it has a semi-set difficulty, whereas Geometry Wars can keep going and getting harder. There is an endurance mode, but I haven't tried it yet.

I'm only saying it's easier because Geometry Wars ONLY has an infinite mode, you can do single songs in this one, or infinite.

At the current moment, there's about ten or twelve. Unless there are hidden unlockables (which, at least according to GFAQs, there aren't.)

Oh wow. Endurance mode is insane.
Basically, you pick a song and a difficulty level. You essentially play that song on that difficulty over and over again. However, every so odd seconds, the BPM of the song (and by proxy the fireworks and how fast your fingers must move) increases. EG, the song me and Rhea played starts at 120BPM, I think, but by the end of the second lap it was up to 150BPM. May not seem like much until you're actually playing it at 125% speed. Although, I was able to last through three (point fiveish) laps on medium so I got another achievement.
