What are some good HDs to buy? I have 150$, and am looking maybe for an external USB one over 100 GB. I've seen 300 GB internals too, but i'm unsure.

I don't know how true it is, but CompUSA has a LaCie 250GB for 149.
http://www.compusa.com/products/product_in...0799&pfp=BROWSE

Of course, you could always get a (larger) internal one by Western Digital, and a case for it.

LaCie sells 1TB (1024 GB) hard drives (~$700), and you can buy multi-TB hard drive arrays from many sources.

If you have a large hard drive, you don't have to burn old files, or delete anything, and you can rip CDs and DVDs in the highest quality possible.

20GB is really tiny.
Hell if she's running windows, that's 3-8 GB gone just for the base install.

Personally, I think you should take a look in newegg.com or some other good site that sells computer parts at a reasonable price.

Truthfully, I don't know alot about hard-drives, but an aquaintance of mines suggested me to Western Digital HDs. There's a 320GB hard-drive with 8MB cache (making this HD a rather good choice for storing your stuff than as a Master HD), and it costs about $130. But that's only if you have a credit card.

Can't buy anything online if you don't have access to a credit card.

My notebook has 37 GB (thats hard drive, right?) I'm only using 5 GB.....all I've got are video game remixed music/Rockman beast opening & closing movie, Riviera music, some pictures/& sprite recolors (my 1st ones!) + all the programs I've got installed....This post is...insignificant, its just that I wanted to post something that wasn't a question ^_^.

dude, i partitioned it in half.

that means, if i get a virus on one side of the partition, i'll just reformat that corrupted paartition and then replace it with the uncorupted side. and it'll then return to normal.

it'll return to normal, offcourse, if you saved all your files before the infection.
