Last.fm is a site dedicated to recording your musical tastes, and helping you find people with similar taste and bands that you would probably like.
You sign up for an account, and download the software that sends to the server what you're listening to (there's probably at least one for whatever OS/Media Player combo you use, if not, you can develop one your own). That's all.

How many people have accounts on last.fm? Post them if you do.
If you don't, go sign up.

It appears last.fm is finally redesigning. It looks pretty, and some of the new features look great.
Sadly, everyone seems to have realized the change at the same time, so the site is slow as all hell.

It's not last.fm saying they're melodic death metal, it's the people that listen to them.

Of course. Most of last.fm is fanmade, as is wikipedia, and the huge errors you see all over the places are quite astounding.

I never said it because Wikipedia said it. I said because they sound pretty Nu/Industrial to me. Excuse me if you don't want a band you don't like in your beloved Metal genre to give it a bad name.

Nu-Metal is not metal, just a note. Nether is industrial, You REALLY need to learn how different genres are defined, because you keep making new one's up, and assuming they all mix together.
