The only online game is Gold Rush. You basically protect the mine while others attack it...

It's o.k for a console shooter.
The destructible enviroments are extremely good. Actually, EVERYTHING can be blown up, not like these gimmicky things today that say YOU CAN DESTROY EVERYTHING and it's like maybe 4 walls. I still prefer Battlefield 2 and 1942. ~~~ [13:27:43] [Sabator] peter would be the worst batman ever though. Battlefield 2 was decent.

Because console shooters are typically less complex, have a worse control scheme, and WHAT THE FUCK HOW IS COD4 BETTER ON XBOX THAN PC. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR ONLINE FOR THE PC VERSION.
I also don't know where you're coming from on "some of the best", as every good shooter ever made is on the PC, and half the time was ORIGINALLY on the PC. Well, aside from Timesplitters and maybe Goldeneye. And anyway, with console versions you miss out on the entire modding community. It doesn't help when my computer is a piece of shit :(

Parts for gaming PCs really aren't THAT expensive.
I can get the stuff for something that'll run pretty much everything short of Crysis (maybe even Crysis on mid low settings) for prolly less than 400 bucks if you know where to look and you build it yourself. Nothing significant compared to a console at any rate. People who say stuff is near the 4 digits are insane, because buying the absoloutely latest hardware is retarded and unnecessary. But Asaph uses Eurasians, which is worth about 1000 times the amount of a typical USD. So what would be nowhere near 4 digits would be like 5 digits for us.
