But if this idea would actually expand. Do you think the creaters would think about it or they wouldn't care less?

How did the game sell in both the USA and Japan? The more copies sold, the higher the chance that this could happen.(And vice-versa...)

Um, Sturm... "la" denotes femininity of a word.

You mean "viva le Hector".

Just what I said.
But anyways, I thought about a Riviera movie and realized it would be pretty rubbish! Why? Because of the many decisions you make in the game. Imagine hearing Ein saying the opposite of what you chose while playing would upset me. Or imagine seeing the wrong ending! But if they made some kind of interactive movie where you could use your DVD remote to choose what Ein says so you could affect the ending would be awesome.

maybe in a live-action film, but not in an OVA. that would take a long time, and a lot of patience, a lot of time, a lot of drawing, and a lot of money.

Ugh, seeing a live-action Riviera would bother me too much. I don't see a too much of a problem with a OVA with a set ending, other then the anime team messing up the basic storyline or trying to add an abundance of fanservice.

Then again, there's all ready quite a number of harem anime, and there's not too much to separate Riviera from the rest. Yeah, it'd appeal to the fans (or some of them at least), but probably not enough to make it profitable venture. And as much as I'd like to see a Riviera anime, I'd hate to see a low-quality attempt (I'm looking at you, Disgaea).

I wonder who would be the cast in a Live-action Riviera XD

But anyway, that's exactly what I was thinking.

Well, I think an OVA would be interesting. Obviously, you wouldn't see all the little choices and events, but it would be fun to see an animation company's evaluation of the bigger ones.

Also, it could show the bonus tracks as omake and have the alternate endings as a special feature. ^_^ It would be cute~

So by big events, you mean like choosing between girls?

But that is like almost all the movies are, you want the main character to do something but can't actually listen to you. Making someone mad but not really angry.

It should be an interactive anime-type movie. Like a choose your own fate book? Except, like, you watch up until a really pivotal decision, then you get to decide what Ein or the others do.

Obviously, they'd have to change some elements of the game to put it to a movie, but I'd get it...unless it's fan-made, cuz those tend to be crappy.

Oh, and to answer to the game sales, they haven't made an official movie of Ocarina of Time or any of the other Zelda games, so I don't think it's so much the sales. Although, they did do a couple of Final Fantasy movies...

A choose-your-own-fate would take you out of the movie/show, and make the ending feel rather... Mechanical, and emotionless.
In games it's good to have control, but in movies and books and such, suddenly stepping in and changing the story is like playing God, and the characters suddenly become pawns that sway to your whim. Completely kills the narrative experience, and often leads you to feel apathetic towards the characters' existence, and that defintely ruins any impact the ending might have had on you.
