My finals are the week after, and I won't be able to get anything done if I go home, so I'm just going to stay on campus to study.

Going to have thanksgiving dinner with my fraternity bros, so that should be nice.

Yeah seriously. I do get to go home for Thanksgiving but still.

Actually, at this point, I just need a break to catch up on work. I've got three things due on Friday and two of them require us to schedule meetings outside of class and do lots of work. I already have meetings for my comp. sci. project happening every day this week and so that leaves no time for our stupid Game Design Workshop meetings to make a 6 minute pitch for some bullshit project that isn't even due until next week, maybe.

Good luck with your finals, aero. :]

Seriously, there should be a minimum of one 3 day weekend every month, so we can catch up on things, like sleep. I haven't had a good night's sleep in almost a month, been busy every freaking weekend.

I also really want to go home, just to get away from this city and campus for a while and eat a home cooked meal ;_;

They're not until the end of November, but it's never too early to start accumulating "good lucks", so thanks hahahaha

We went to an Indian Buffet, so I was able to try a whole bunch of things. Don't remember the names, but I loved the Indian Curry with Chicken and there's was this one with Lamb. They had this green sauce that kind of tasted like Verde Salsa, but wasn't, that went great with everything.

Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. I went to bed early last night (11:30) after coding for our group project for 8 hours straight. That's the earliest I've gone to bed all month. I also talked to my mom and apparently she and my brother had steak and broccoli purée for dinner last night. I was sooooo jealous.

ALSO I want to bitch out my Game Design Workshop professor so bad. Nobody in that class has had overlapping free time because of this comp. sci. project, and he's expecting us to have a full-fledged, 6-minute pitch for our latest bullshit project by tomorrow. First of all, NONE OF THE GROUPS CAN EVEN MEET, LET ALONE MAKE A FUCKING POWERPOINT for this thing. I am so sick and tired of this guy thinking his class is the most fucking important thing in the world, while our comp. sci. project affects the grades of all the people in another class. Last time I checked, this Powerpoint grade didn't affect another class.

I can't imagine programming stuff and going through lines of code for 8 hours straight...I got a headache from just doing an hour of it back in high school and it was for a simple space invaders game in java >_>

Steak and Brocooli puree sounds really good, where do you usually eat Hayate? On-campus dining hall or off campus places?

Yeah, programming for hours and hours on end makes me crazy. I think it would be hilarious if someone taped me and my friends coding all day. We have random bouts of despair, swearing repeatedly, laughing hysterically, and complete silence. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. XD

I almost always eat at someplace on or near campus, since I live in another state. I don't have a car so getting anywhere is difficult. My friends live a block or two off campus (still considered student housing, though) and I eat at their place sometimes, although that doesn't really count as "off-campus." We have some decent places here: California Pizza Kitchen, Panda Express, Subway, etc. What do you do for food?

Also late response, but Indian food is delicious.
