I know of three different things with that name. Which thing are you talking about?
The 1927 film. Yesterday an almost completely recovered version was aired missing none but a single scene and a few single unimportant frames; the ~25 minutes that had been missing till now were discovered in an Argentinian museum two years ago.
It premièred last night at the Berlinale (film festival in Berlin) and was simultaneously shown in 3 other German and French cities - and on the TV channel Arte.
I never saw it before, and was absolutely overwhelmed. The art direction and the scenery are brilliant, many scenes and effects surpass most recent films in both impact and impression, the score is of epic proportions, the staging of the characters incredibly gripping, and the whole work is simply monumental.
I am excited.
