BLUES IS AWESOME


EDIT: I just returned from the Rhine, where I sat on a bench for about an hour and a half to continue reading Die Leiden des jungen Werther. I'm not yet done and about a fourth still lies ahead of me, though.
It was cold, the sky's drab grey colour soaked through the river and his shores alike, and the sound of his waves was swallowed by the incessant murmur of the stream of cars on the other bank echoing through the valley. The gulls glided through the monotonous dullness engulfing the land without a single trace of their presence being audible, and the trees were barren to their very wooden bones. I could not think of a more appropriate backdrop.

Also for some reason I do not feel sleepy the slightest, although usually I would be taking a nap by now.

Got a B- on the midterm I took before Thanksgiving. Below average, but considering how much I procrastinated and crammed I'm happy with my score.

This week is stupid. Our writing professors are trying to kill us. We have three papers due on Friday—my friends are flipping out about one of the last writing 140 essays, while I'm freaking out about a term paper that's due in two days and I haven't started yet.

I want finals to happen. That's how bad it is right now. XP

I don't care if the sky is falling, I'm taking this Sunday off goddammit.
