QUOTE(Raijinili @ Oct 4 2009, 02:10 AM) *

QUOTE(PPA)
Because I consider selfishness to be the origin of all suffering brought upon the world by humanity. Many things like the poverty in the third world, all oppression of people and nations, or wars ultimately can be traced back to one or more people living out their greed.
But is it really selfish?
You mean greed? I'd consider it the embodiment of selfishness.

Also curses, I intended to get up at 6:17, but while I was indeed woken up by my two alarm clocks I then failed to get up and shower but instead unknowingly fell back asleep and the netx time I opened my eyes it was already 7:40.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh
I need to get a third alarm clock to ring with a few minutes of delay after my second one does so I will definitely be woken up in time.

So, I was teaching 5th graders about landforms. They called me Mister and asked me if I was a scientist.

Feeling down for a reason that I can't quite put my finger on. Even after I wrote two pages about it.

:(
I hope you'll feel better soon. Also if it cheers you up, being down for no or unknown reasons is more pleasant (actually completely irrelevant) than actually having a good (or bad) reason to feel bad. Only then is it a problem!

EDIT: Speaking of which, I still have ones and feel worthless. However! Now I have confirmation that the situation is absolutely hopeless and I will remain useless. Which, despite how it may sound, is actually not a bad thing. As now I know that it's useless to keep mourning my shortcomings and wage an eternal war against my flaws but that I should just move on and elsewhere to focus on the strengths I possess. (In other words, what many have been telling me for ages. As usual, it always takes a while and a good realisation to sink in though.) So while I am and will forever be unecessary and as relevant as the dust covering my secretary in some regards, I now know that I should just balance it out with other things where I can be of use.

Actually I should study for the 4 exams next week but I can do that along the way of reforming my mentality and readjusting my aims. >_>
Also, just as cemented as my worthlessness are my trips to the capitals of Luxembourg, Belgium, and France as my parents agreed. My father said that I should perhaps consider visiting Toulouse instead of Paris (as my family has got a few friends there and I could practise my French), but I think I'll stick to Paris for now. There's more to see there, and I just saw that it can still get up to 30°C in Toulouse in October. :|

I've been drawing a lot.

... except now I'm totally burned out after the last two or three images I cooked up and so I want to draw but I also don't really have the energy to anymore. Just the thought of having to do more clothing folds and placing more eyes and shading hair is making me feel vaguely ill, which should not be so because normally I love this kind of thing. D:

SO MUCH FOR THAT NOVEL CONCEPT ART. :/

I'm back from my geography exam. In preparation of the Abitur, half the exams will not be written any more but instead we have to verbally do everything, usually structured in first talking about stuff we know in front of the teachers before then they question us for other things.
I have a bad feeling. I wasn't very structured and they often had to nudge me into the right direction. If they could just continue letting us write them in text; I barely talk verbally so I have very few experience with speaking, not to mention I can always articulate myself much better in text if I have the peace to order my thoughts and put them on paper! :(
It be noted that these are quarterly-annual training exams with no relevance to my future career, but having bad grades anywhere still bothers me great,y and drives me crazy.

God damn it these days are fucking awful

My cell phone is a fucking asshole. I mainly chose the one I got to keep in contact with somebody via AIM because I didn't feel there enough. Too bad whenever I say something about 15% of the time it tells me it's "Unable to send". Yesterday I had a fucking marathon of that, telling me the same thing 13 times in a row.

Nah, but sometimes that does happen so I try to stall very important conversations until I get home.
