Note: Discussion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl takes place here, including characters. If you do not wish to be spoiled early, then leave.

If Riviera characters were in the game, here's how I would see them working. Each character (Ein, Ledah, Lina, Fia, Serene, and Cierra) get movesets that reflect their primary weapons. Their special (B) moves are dictated by their Overdrives (one or two may be omitted a result) while their Final Smash is their final weapon's Overdrive.

I don't see any of their Final Smashes warranting an OHKO, however. The only EXL Overdrives are Ein's Disaresta, Ledah's Lost Seraph, and Fia's Banishment. Going by Brawl itself, the only real OHKO is Marth's Critical Hit. Some Final Smashes have excellent ringout potential, like Mario Finale, while others are immersed in power and the potential to ring the enemy out quickly, like Super Sonic. Then we have Link, Toon Link, and Ike using sword combos that can result in an OHKO, but aren't guaranteed, like Marth's. It's this category that I see the Riviera characters falling in. Obviously, they use weapons, so it would be logical that they would follow their Final Smashes with their weapon animations.

Regarding a stage I definitely see Heaven's Gate as the primary stage. Chains, layers, and falling off would make a large stage, even comparable to Hyrule Temple. Traps such as false floors that crumble would make an ideal obstacle and the stage could have several themes like "Heaven's Gate", "Encounter", "Battle Against the Devil Tribe", and "Fierce Fighting" in the My Music section.

Finally, Serene would be able to float, Lina and Fia would be the fastest, Ledah would be the strongest, Ein would be the most balanced, and Cierra would be the heaviest. Guess why?

They aren't going to be in. Forget it.

Brawl's already out. He knows that.

But most of the "final attacks" are just big weapon combos right? They'd have to be altered to make more variation. Or you could give them special items, like Cierra using Gravity Nova and Ein making the Zero Cannon seem insignificant with Fanelia.

Riviera character in brawl...meh..might be impossible but someone could actually made the character into a mugen fighting game...hmmm...that remind me of something.

The slightly creepy thing about this thread is that I had a dream last night about several Dept. Heaven characters being unlockable in Brawl. O_o;;

It would be so much want if they were.

I had a dream Serene was in Brawl, but that was long ago.

i would be just unbelievably happy if Ledah was in Brawl. And Ein. X3 Angel spam.

Rose would be a fun addition, too, but her moveset would be difficult. The rest of the Riviera girls' movesets would be easy. Final smashes being their Overskills with their respective mastered weapons, of course.

Malice would be a cool character, too, even if I don't like her all that much. And I would only want Hector in there if I get to beat him up. >D

@Feral: Wow. Haven't had a dream about Brawl yet, but that'd be sweet I've had plenty of other ones. XD Actually, H. Tsukiyono spins some of her stories off of my dreams (they're that whacked out XD). You know you're a fangirl when you start having dreams like that, right? XDD

I vote for lina vs serene,lina vs fia,ein vs ledah and malice vs ledah.

This isn't a poll and it's not about which characters you want to fight eachother.

The only worthy additions are Malice, Lina, or Serene. Everyone else would end up as a generic, and Ledah doesn't deserve it.

Lina and Serene, yes. Malice, maybe.

I do agree that some of the other characters (especially Ein) might end up as something mundane, generic, or just annoyingly "balanced." But why wouldn't Ledah deserve it? Just curious.
