QUOTE(Lord Ryo @ Mar 18 2007, 07:05 PM) If it looks like a woman, walks like a woman, and talks like a woman, then chances are; it's a woman.
It's just an old saying, one I didn't make up. But it fit the description so I used it. And as I said, CHANCES are...I meant just that. QUOTE Ursula is hardly wearing anything, except bandages. Unless you call that dressing up as "woman-like." I'll see a women bound in ribbons before a man. If you had to class the style, it would easily be for a female. QUOTE A living creature and a spirit taking a form that looks like a female are not the same thing. Also, a living creature would have to be able to reproduce and as Sturm mentioned WAY earlier in the thread, neither Seth or Ursula do.
Let me say it again incase you did read it the first time. "So at the very least, they are assuming females in their own minds." True, to be considered female you'd have to be able tp reproduce, but THEY TOOK ON THE FORM OF females, and female is a gender. So yes, "technically" they're not females in the fact that they're incapable to reproduce, yet at the same time having breasts, feminine faces, and soft spoken voices makes them female-like. I agreed and said they were of neither sex, but stated that they have the appearance of females. QUOTE http://www.grev.co.jp/ronde360/char_p03.htmlGUESS WHAT EVEN THOUGH IT HAS THE MOST FEMININE VOICE IN THE GAME AND LOOKS LIKE THAT, IT'S A SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD MALE So now all young "female-like" characters are male or genderless, I see... There are many characters experiencing gender challenging issues, Seth and Ursula in this case. So posting another example doesn't prove any theories.

Sorry, damn quotes won't work again, go figure...
"They're not ribbons, they're bandages, so that doesn't work. Unless you're going for the whole "women are stupider and more fragile" angle."
Their "bandages" also fit the description of a ribbon, so it makes no difference how you perfer to call it.
"They do not have a physical form; they do not have breasts."
They look like breasts to me, and that's all that matters. I didn't plan on feeling them anyways so it doesn't matter if they're "not physical"
"Quit trolling; I never said or implied anything even remotely like that."
Then why did you bring it up, it doesn't fit here?
"You don't prove theories, you disprove them. And that example disproved yours."
No, I only disprove your theories Sturm, and that example, just further disproves yours.

QUOTE Their "bandages" also fit the description of a ribbon, so it makes no difference how you perfer to call it. Oh, so you dress a wound with ribbons now? And wrap presents with bandages? Try both, see how well they go over. QUOTE They look like breasts to me, and that's all that matters. "Looks like" is not the same as "is." QUOTE No, I only disprove your theories Sturm, and that example, just further disproves yours. What theories? What theories did you disprove? Because, like always, I see no one agreeing with you.

QUOTE Oh, so you dress a wound with ribbons now? And wrap presents with bandages? Try both, see how well they go over. Are Seth and Ursula's bodies covered with injuries? Didn't think so, so it's safe to assume that a long object resembling a thin line covering a "woman-like" body is a ribbon. QUOTE "Looks like" is not the same as "is." Seeing how we're referring to animated breasts, and not actual physical breasts, "looks like" is enough to yet again, prove my theory. QUOTE What theories? What theories did you disprove? Because, like always, I see no one agreeing with you. Oh Sturmy, oblivious to the obvious as usual. Take a look again, you might find the answers to your questions on your own this time.

QUOTE Are Seth and Ursula's bodies covered with injuries? Didn't think so, so it's safe to assume that a long object resembling a thin line covering a "woman-like" body is a ribbon. Seth is not covered in bandages (nor ribbons, if you intend to pursue it). Anyways, no, Ribbons are not cloth-like and grey. QUOTE Seeing how we're referring to animated breasts, and not actual physical breasts, "looks like" is enough to yet again, prove my theory. You just realize that, in saying that, you broke ghosts, virtual reality and just about everything else in anime, games, etc?

QUOTE Seth is not covered in bandages (nor ribbons, if you intend to pursue it). Anyways, no, Ribbons are not cloth-like and grey. Then Seth is obviously exempted. And as I said "a ribbon is a long object resembling a thin line" so regardless of material or color it's a ribbon. QUOTE You just realize that, in saying that, you broke ghosts, virtual reality and just about everything else in anime, games, etc? Then is virtual reality and anime physical?

QUOTE No. Yes. QUOTE ... You know, I put quotes there so you know what I'm responding to. Read the quote, THEN the response, so you know what the hell is going on. You should ask yourself that, I know what I'm talking about.
