I hated the dubbed vocies for Riveria. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!
I found that out after I played the JAP version. Simply awesome.

I was amazed on how Yggdra Union turned out.
(you can tell who made by the simularilies on the CGs)

If I didn't focused on the option about bath scenes I'd choose that one for,
I can't seem to pick between the both but I ended up choosing Riveria.

meh, I loved that game anyways.

The Japanese voices for Riviera are awful. I think you had the sound off when playing the American version.

oh no. I know that for sure.
the dubbed version made Ein sound like he was LMAO can't even explain it properly.
like: he was in his 20's LMAO, is so dumb it's funny. sorry.
it's sooooo...ahhhh. IMO.

I did some research on examples on dubbed voices, and take Bleach for example. The people are around for 12-17 at least. In the US most average from 21-34.

I dun really care who old but wiether it sounds better and the original script has been changed in order to modify the voice actors and swearing. I TRULY HATE THAT. that's why I like it in it's original content.
Unless they manage to change my mind.(Failed so far.)

Like Ledah's voice are both good in ENG and JAP. so that's a hard call.

Well, in the Japanese version, Ein is very clearly a ten-year-old girl.
I'd rather have my lead male character sound a littler older than he should than sound like a younger person of the opposite gender.

Well, this ones obvious. Riviera is a great game no doubt, but compared to Yggdra...ooh, don't go there. Riviera was good entertainment, until I beat it. True, I've beat the game over eight times now, but that's because I'm a perfectionist, I only wanted to master and complete everything the game had to offer, which didn't take long because the game is just so easy.

Now for Yggdra Union, for starters; the game is very difficult, which is what I loved most about the game. Video games are too expensive for a mere 18 hours of game play max. Riviera had less strategy, even if you don't think before you play, you still win. Yggdra on the other hand requires you to pay attention to all aspects of the game. I've messed up big time in battles and even had to restart playing while making an egg or working. Riviera did have more extra content to unlock. But regardless, I bought Yggdra the day it came out and I haven't put it down since.

Maybe if you abuse Practice Mode.

That's very very true. That's how I ruin the game for me.

But I'm happy that I didn't get owned so badly.

Not getting owned is part of the strategy.

I don't remember me mentioning anything about abusing practice mode, let me double check my post, hold on one minute...nope, not in there sorry. Although I have played through the game "abusing practice mode" I found it to take way too long and it totally sucked the fun out of it, and didn't bother doing it again, and yet I still found the game to be very easy. A great game none the less, but an easy one.

Just because you didn't say it doesn't mean I can't figure it out.

What's there to figure out, you're just making up stuff; trying to second guess me. Nowhere in my post did I mention abusing practice mode. What's the matter, is it too hard to fathom me being good at Riviera? Sorry.

Considering you say YU is difficult, yes, it is impossible to fathom that you found Riviera easy without using Practice Mode.

Why, do you find Riviera to be harder? I flew through my first playthrough of Riviera and didn't abuse practicing at all. Yggdra on the other hand was a good challenge.

I find it hard to believe you never used Practice on your entire first play through.

Oh, so you watched me play my first game then Sturm? Do you even know how to read? When did I say I never used practice?! Now is the time to say never. I said I didn't abuse it. There's a difference between never using something and not abusing it. But I'll pretend I have to explain myself to you anyway.

During my first playthrough of Riviera I found it hard to keep items; now wait, don't get me wrong, I said hard to keep items, not hard to complete. So, my items broke often due to soo many attacks during one battle. Now I did practice, often even, but most of my experience came from regular battles (practice takes soooooo long and it's not really fun to level up with 10 items before I continue the normal game)

Now, you can't possibly misinterpret that.
