BACKLOG
I HAVE BEEN EXPERIMENTING WITH NEW TEAMS AND POKÉMON, AND A FEW NEW FAVOURITES HAVE EMERGED: LOPUNNY IS INCREDIBLY FUN AND CAN MESS WITH PEOPLE IN HILARIOUS WAYS, AND OFFENSIVE SCOLIPEDE IS A FANTASTIC SWEEPER SINCE NOBODY EXPECTS IT TO STAY IN AND ATTACK INSTEAD OF BATON PASSING OUT.
ALSO WEEZING HAS BECOME EVEN MORE USEFUL THIS GEN WITH SO MANY BULKY PHYSICAL ATTACKERS AROUND. CLEFABLE HOWEVER HAS BEEN HURT BY ITS TYPE CHANGE. THE GAINED RESISTANCES DON'T MAKE UP FOR BEING WEAK TO STEEL, SINCE I WAS USING IT TO SURPRISE FLAMETHROWER THINGS LIKE FERROTHORN OR SCIZOR BEFORE, WHO CAN NOW OHKO IT. STALL TEAMS ALSO LESS COMMON NOW SO MAGIC GUARD HAS BECOME LESS USEFUL.
Anyway, here have a recent match in Ubers with my current team:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-91349142Bernd Lauert's tea,: Lopunny / Scolipede / Weezing / Vaporeon / Mawile / Arcanine
buttfarm's team: Ho-Oh / Arceus-Poison / Kyogre / Zekrom / Yveltal / Xerneas
Besides the Lopunny/Scolipede/Weezing/bulky physical attacker/wish-passing eeveelution core I still haven't decided on the exact composition of my team, as can be seen in these older matches where I experimented a little:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-90989990pein_07's team: Dragonite / Hydreigon / Lucario / Xerneas / Sableye / Galvantula
Bernd Lauert's team: Lopunny / Scolipede / Weezing / Vaporeon / Kangaskhan / Arcanine
Lots of stallling and switching in this match, but it highlights how solid the Weezing/specially defensive eeveelution core is. Alas, using Vaporeon leaves it vulnerable to special Electric attackers. The following replays demonstarte the strengths and weaknesses of my team:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-89994567casey90's team: Yveltal / Kangaskhan / Aegislash / Dialga / Xerneas / Arceus-*
Bernd Lauert's team: Lopunny / Scolipede / Weezing / Altaria / Vaporeon / Kangaskhan
Very mediocre match. I wanted to try out Altaria because I find it cute, but stealth rock weakness and requiring a turn to set up Cotton Guard makes it too cumbersome to use.

ATMOutOfService's team: Scolipede / Lucario / Kangaskhan / Breloom / Clefable / Muk
This guy didn't know what he was doing, repeatedly trying to set up on Weezing after it had already demonstrated that it knew Haze. WEEZING IS BULKY
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-89810031Bernd Lauert's team: Lopunny / Scolipede / Weezing / Porygon2 / Vaporeon / Kangaskhan
Shuckle Squad's team: Lugia / Scolipede / Umbreon / Florges / Dusclops / Goodra
THIS IS WHY LOPUNNY IS FUN
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-89785765Aldmerus's team: Deoxys-Defense / Darkrai / Gengar / Giratina / Groudon / Rayquaza
Bernd Lauert's team: Lopunny / Scolipede / Weezing / Porygon2 / Sylveon / Kangaskhan
MORE LOPUNNY BEING FUN

Darknight6669's team: Meowstic-F / Aegislash / Houndoom / Greninja / Venusaur / Xerneas
6–0 Scolipede sweep. If the opponent makes the mistake of not breaking Scolipede's sash (so that priority can finish it off) while it's setting up Sword Dance, they can often say half of their team goodbye.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-89721843Bernd Lauert's team: Lopunny / Scolipede / Weezing / Porygon2 / Sylveon / Cinccino
Blue649's team: Genesect-* / Lucario / Arceus / Kyogre / Xerneas / Shedinja
I ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THIS ONCE
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-88913062Bernd Lauert's team: Lopunny / Scolipede / Mawile / Weezing / Porygon2 / Vaporeon
Goshh's team: Dragonite / Galvantula / Azumarill / Excadrill / Hawlucha / Klefki
This guy's use of Galvantula was genius; a deserved victory for him!
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-88900377Bernd Lauert's team: Lopunny / Scolipede / Mawile / Weezing / Porygon2 / Vaporeon
niaho's team: Charizard / Talonflame / Venusaur / Gliscor / Excadrill / Ninetales
Very anrrowly defeated by a Gliscor. I would probably have won if I had went for a Wish instead of Scald near the end.
AS YOU CAN SEE I USED EVIOLITE PORYGON2 FOR A WHILE, BUT EVENTUALLY DROPPED IT. TRACE IS GIMMICKY AND USEFUL AT TIMES; BUT OVERALL THIS POKÉMON IS INEFFECTIVE AND NOT AS BULKY AS IT NEEDS TO BE.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-89427002xswaggy's team: Sableye / Bisharp / Cloyster / Pinsir / Gliscor / Mandibuzz
Bernd Lauert's team: Lopunny / Scolipede / Weezing / Porygon2 / Sylveon / Cinccino
This was the match after which I fell in love (figuratively) with Lopunny. The enemy broke through the core of my team, even 2HKOed Weezing, which shocked me, and left me with just Lopunny and Sylveon—and I won! Admittedly, he made a few nonsensical mistakes (like Sucker Punching Sylveon and Lopunny), but I'm still very pleased with how this battle went. (Also I had forgotten to give Cinccino any EVs or nature.)
THE COMBINATION OF A SOLID DEFENSIVE CORE IN WEEZING + ANY BULKEON AND LOPUNNY'S SHENANIGANS TO ROB THE OPPONENT OF THEIR MOMENTUM, AND A SETUP SWEEPER LIKE SCOLIPEDE OR MAWILE TO EXPLOIT THESE WINDOWS OF OPPORTUNITY WORKS VERY WELL. HOWEVER I STRUGGLE AGAINST POWERFUL ELECTRIC SPECIAL ATTACKS, AND SHOULD CONSIDER INCLUDING A GROUND TYPE ON MY TEAM. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
