Write this story.

A boy/girl finds a shiny ball. It takes him/her to another place. Story ends after the kid leaves this world.

See how long you can make it without it being crap.

Does it matter if it's generic?
Storytelling is an art, and the basic plot can be used.
The "Kid with immense power" thing has been done over a thousand times,
Usually he's a hero.
Sometime's he's neutral.
We had good stories and painfully bad ones with the same plot.
Yet when Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett did it, the result was great.
So stop whining, and do my "Long Story Challenge".
