As the topic name says, I want to know how to use images from my computer in both a post or in my signature. I don´t know what this BB Code stuff is all about. I don´t even know what URL is the short version of. Please help me!!!

Full Version: How to post images from your computer ?
The URL is the internet location of a file. For example, the URL for my current avatar would be:

If you want to post a picture, you first must upload it somewhere on the internet. ImageShack works well.
Then, you get the URL for it (ImageShack will give you the URL as you upload it), and do one of the following:

| [url=http://www.lacrimacastle.net/forum/uploads/av-1.gif]Click for the picture[/url] [img]http://www.lacrimacastle.net/forum/uploads/av-1.gif[/img] |
Which would produce:
Click for the picture
Of course, you want to replace the URL to my avatar with wherever your image is located.
