Look at the picture and gameplay, it looks very similar to Yggdra Union.

Yes, and what I mean is, the fact it's a Prequel to Yggdra Union, it means that it's PART OF THE DEPT. HEAVEN SERIES right? <_<

But, why would they make a similar title again. Also they said episode 9 was going to be their first 3D game and it would be on the DS.

Not sure if the title matters but I just found out it's being developed by another team in STING so it's probably not part of it, but idk.

If it follows YU standards, then that fencer isn't a girl. Classes are gender-locked I think in YU.

They weren't cheap! Yggdra Unison was $60 while Yggdra Union PSP was $20. Also, so many games to buy for me! I already bought Yggdra Unison but then there is Knights in the Nightmare PSP and Blaze Union! GAH!!!
I'll just wait till they get localized or something...

It is impossible to have too many girls in a video game, especially if they're in armor kicking ass. Warrior women > any other kind of character ever.

This is the first time they've done it, unless you count the PSP version. Yggdra Unison had a completely different system.

Also, Hexyz Force is actually pretty fun (and definitely not as generic as it looked, gameplay-wise). Well, it is if you can get over the terrible warp puzzle that shows up early in the game, anyway...
