It's finally being released in English by Aeria Games, anyone interested in playing? No monthly fees, and you don't even have to buy a copy of the game to play it.

Asaph and I tried it in Japanese.
The game's hella confusing, yo. :(

I hope it was confusing because it was in Japanese >_>
Nonetheless I'm going to give the game a try when the beta is out, I doubt I'll be playing much though, at least until summer rolls around.

No; it was confusing because things weren't explained well enough.

It isn't going to be like all those other free RGPMMO's, is it?
I've gotten sick of those :(

Role Game Play Massively Multiplayer Online?
Anyway, I saw a video of it, and I think I'd rather play SilkRoad...

@aerozero
Where in that link does it mention anything about an english release?
I couldn't find anything about Aeria releasing it in that link...
Also, at the bottom of the page, we can read this:
"Its chances of hitting the rest of the world, unfortunately, are basically zero. It is unlikely Atlus, or really any company, will be willing to translate a title of this magnitude and handle its servers. In addition, in Japan the game itself appears to have gotten a rather lukewarm reception. Amazon user reviews for the title average 2 out of 5. It's unlikely (a better word is "impossible") that any company involved will find it to be a worthwhile endeavor."
EDIT: I did some research and found out some other links talking about this :3

There is a company called Aeria games who is doing the english translation for SMT: Imagine if you are a fan of the game, and speak both English and Japanese, could you help them out by doing some translations?
http://forums.aeriagames.com/viewtopic.php?t=176274 is the site to contact them, you will need to translate a simple message to prove you know Japanese

How is it? My experiences with the Japanese version are kind of deterring me from trying it in English.

I think it's fun and so far it's been pretty simple to understand. I'm level 10 right now.

>< I remember playing this on my old computer... but I haven't been able to get it on my current computer yet... so... yeah...
It is pretty fun if you have other friends who play it, though.
