About half a year ago when I was getting into some more varied kinds of extreme metal with the help of Child of Death and Destruction (Friend of mine) he kept suggesting that I check this band out. So I searched and searched, found nothing, and eventually gave up. I probably wouldn't have appreciated them at that time anyway, because I was much more into Children of Bodom. Recently, I received The Burning Halo, Where Lovers Mourn, and Arcane Rain Fell. And z0000000mg.
Picture Graveworm mixed with Nightwish with some folk and doom influence. The 15 minute epic beauty Death, Come Near Me is now one of my favorite songs, ever. This band has made it into my top 5 with just a few songs. CoDad wasn't kidding when he said it would be some of the most beautiful music I'd ever hear. They have both female and male vocals, and seem to use them nearly equally.
My current favorites from the albums I have:
Death, Come Near Me ( Best. Song. Ever. )
The Cry of Silence
The Amaranth
It Grieves My Heart
The Morningstar
She Dies
A Scenery of Loss
The Apostasy Canticle
The Abhorrent Rays
A Slumber Did My Spirit Seal
