Perhaps she has got a hidden stat increasing her defence against enemies of the Ottoman element that gets an increase if you transfer Warsaw's soul into her. :(

This is stupid. The localization is excellent. No bad Grammar, nice translated cut scenes.
Don't you have anything better to complain? Names? Oh, for God's sake.
The only ones who complain about this are the ones who thinks Japanese >>>>> English and any other language.

No, you'd be wrong there. People who care about continuity can also complain.

Of course, we're complaining at Sting regarding that, too.

Furthermore, I for once am not complaining about Japanese names being messed with, I'm complaining about German names being made ridiculous or replaced by Nordic ones. Also the lack of long "s"s.

I still don't see much of the problem, there wasn't really any symbolic significance to their names, were there?

It's not like they changed Maria's name into FAG WHORE or something.

I'm mostly just upset about things like "Upora Statue."
But not that upset. More like "oh Atlus... *shakes head*"
But I'm upset. Angry even. I feel like burning things.
No, no, I'm okay.

I think in a few cases there was some, a handful of names were related to the legend of Siegfried the dragon slayer.
Also German is superior to any other language.

Didn't they change those to keep the symbolic significance?

I thought Atlus tends to translate according to what they feel is most fitting, not by the exact book?

I saw something about how in Yggdra Union, there was one line that one of the tranlsators thought seemed out of character, so he changed it to suit the moment better.

That would be the line Maragos delivered with regards to the "softening" of a line in YUGBA, but he is not representative of Atlus entirely.

Alright, my bad.

Just for the record, I'm on the side that says the translation is fine. At least Atlus is also trying to fix a few screw ups they did in Yggdra. Take the Applecot Nut for example.

Whether they're trying to fix things or not doesn't matter if they break other things. Again. UPORA.
