Lacrima Castle _ Riviera Game Help _ P.P.A.'s Video Guides

Posted by: P.P.A. Aug 8 2007, 08:17 PM

I'm currently playing though RiviGBA another time, but this time I record videos of some areas and all the bosses and harder enemies.
They also function as guides on how to S-rank harder foes, so I'll post them here. :o

Here's the whole playlist: http://uk.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=5F9DD4E882E58805
I'll add new videos there.

I'll put spoiler tags around each chapter, just in case. Video links inside.

Chapter 1:

Chapter 2:

Chapter 3:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I'll edit this post every time I upload another video.
(Also tell me if these spoiler tags are unnecessary.)

I hope this isn't spam ;o

When trying to S-rank a boss (in general), should I try and master as many skills as possible before ths save?)

and when is there a way to gauge if you're on the right tack to an s-rank? y'know to get an estimate, incase you miss a hit or so (it's happened to me...a lot)

Surefire way to S-rank a boss is by killing it with a level 3 Overskill/Disaresta.

Not surefire, but the only factors are your CT, the CT-base of the battle, and the finisher.

I believe that the stats you have in the beginning of the game (aka Heaven's Gate) are actually higher than you'll ever be able to acheive ever

It's possible. Chef has a Cierra with some odd number thousand HP.

what I meant was for Ein to have that much HP
I was pretty sure you can't get over the stats form Heaven's Gate

So Ein has a max of whatever HP Ein has in Chapter 1? I think not.

Posted by: DustyHaru Sep 7 2007, 12:06 AM

ah ok then (maybe I'm thinking stats instead...)

oh well

Not true at all. They display the max possible HP for all characters in the instruction booklet of RiviGBA--I believe it's 5000, although I can't say for sure as I don't have it on me.

In every single playthrough I've ever done except my first, I've always had all the characters over 1000 HP. Maybe you guys just aren't teaching them enough overskills.

Posted by: sandpenguin Sep 11 2007, 11:15 AM

Yep, for me every characters that I have reached 1500 and above HP but 2000 to 5000? I don't think so..... Maybe you can if you can get ALL the usable stuffs with skills and teach the team mates about it.

9999? UBER!!
