Bly "used to serve the knoarchs of Fantasinia for generations." It is my opinion that this could change the entire meaning behind the story, and give new meaning to previously useless events. Actually, yeah, this definitely changes things. And gives meaning to every useless event. It's just, I don't know how. Because there are two outcomes for this. It all just depends on what "knoarchs" is. Is it something like "aurochs," or is it some sort of obscure Chess jargon that nobody who plays Chess actually uses? Let's discuss this.

I don't think knoarch is a chess term.

It is a misspelling of monarch?

In other news, YU US version is out today.

I hope GameStop ships my game soon, and that it won't take too long to arrive here.
What I find just as mysterious as "knoarchs" however is the word "bly".

I think Bly is a name. And assuming that "knoarchs" is a misspelling of monarch is too convenient, especially when they spelled "used to serve the ___ of Fantasinia for generations" right.

I could be wrong, though. THE POSSIBILITY EXISTS.

My super ultra forensic analysis skills tell me:

When your hands are on home row and you try to press the M key:
Your forefinger does it.
When you do it, it puts a little pressure on the K key with your middle finger.

Also, the N key is right next to M.

All of this leads me to believe it's a typo.

I don't push the M key with my index.

And yeah, Bly is a name. It's how Sting romanized the katakana for his name, which, in Japanese, is read as furai.

Uh, no. It's read as BURAI, but Sting used such a shitty font that noone noticed the dakuten.

And I mean NO ONE; several Japanese wikis even had his name listed as Fry.

Good, now there's a connection from a tactician, to a forensic detective, and now a method of cooking food.

Japanese fonts... how fun...
Sometimes they skip one or two strokes in Kanji for readability - too many lines in too small a space = unreadable. Makes it hard to figure out for me who doesn't know Japanese.

I wonder how they will localize the name Bullneck from ASH. What a weird name. Even the Japanese VA saying it sounds strange.

If Fry served the knoarchs, maybe Fry is a cook and a knoarch is fried food!
