Nothing at the moment...but there are a few that i've had my eyes on. Just trying to look for a very good Anime that can top Tsukihime.

Posted by: Kohaku Dec 24 2005, 12:45 AM

Onegai Twins (again)
Tsukihime (again)
And reading the Suikoden III manga.

Posted by: valkan Dec 24 2005, 12:49 AM

Very very good manga.

Amen. Tsukihime was so awesome x3.

Onegai Twins was funny too...remember episode 3? Oh God, I wanted to make that one part an avatar so badly.

Posted by: forsakensmile Dec 24 2005, 01:07 PM

None really. Downloading Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien though.

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 24 2005, 01:59 PM

Hmm, I'm currently waiting for the latest episodes (manga) of...

One Piece
Naruto
Tsubasa Chronicles
Marchen Awaken Romance (MAR)
Magister Negi Magi
Suikoden 3

Hmmm, might wanna watch Bleach anime. My bro burned the discs, but I haven't watch it ^^'

Posted by: forsakensmile Dec 24 2005, 02:29 PM

Tsubasa manga is getting a bit draggy for me. CLAMP's trying too hard, I feel. Like trying to make Sakura useful. We KNOW she's useless. So let it bet that way. And it's VERY predictable.

But still enjoyable somehow.

Posted by: Malice Dec 24 2005, 02:35 PM

watching Tsubasa~

Posted by: forsakensmile Dec 24 2005, 02:36 PM

Is the anime any good?

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 24 2005, 02:37 PM

I prefer the manga. The anime's... *sigh* Maybe my expectation is too high.

Posted by: forsakensmile Dec 24 2005, 02:40 PM

Manga when ported to anime can ruin everything. It's unlikely that it's you.

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 24 2005, 03:13 PM

Well, I watched the first few episodes with my friend.

It's quite... okay, but I expected Kurogane's voice to be younger. And Yuki's voice! The horror... the horror... They changed seiyuus! >_<

Posted by: valkan Dec 24 2005, 04:32 PM

They didn't think anyone would notice.

That's how it goes.......

Posted by: Leyviur Dec 24 2005, 06:33 PM

Rurouni Kenshin is awesome.

I submit that Kenshin vs. Saito is the best fight in any anime, ever.

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 25 2005, 09:32 AM

The manga's better though. The anime just got worse after the battle with the bandage dude.

Posted by: Leyviur Dec 25 2005, 09:46 AM

"Bandage Dude"? God, you make him seem so much less cool now.

And yeah, I would've preferred the Jinchu arc to be on the anime. So sad.

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 25 2005, 10:45 AM

I forgot the name of the bandage dude ^^'

Posted by: forsakensmile Dec 25 2005, 11:58 AM

Saddening. Well download ALMOST finished.

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 25 2005, 02:14 PM

Any good animes to watch out?

Posted by: Leyviur Dec 25 2005, 02:31 PM

Watch Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid. It's violent and has a lot of adult themes, but it's a REALLY good watch.

Prerequisites are FMP season 1 and FMP: Fummofu.

Posted by: Marionette Dec 25 2005, 03:56 PM

Bandage Dude. >XD >XD >XD (Makoto Shishio)

I'm currently watching Bleach, and that's about it. Lately I've just been sobusy.

Posted by: valkan Dec 25 2005, 04:17 PM

Heh Heh Bandage dude.

Posted by: Kohaku Dec 25 2005, 05:52 PM

I'd really like to see the Tales of Phantasia anime OVAs..

Posted by: Liger Dec 26 2005, 02:54 AM

It just takes it a while and I some times can't tell if its downloading....Then one time I finished downloading a rockman beast episode, the think said it couldn't play it...yet I had all the components. Also it said something about my fire wall..so I turned it off and the same thing happened.

That might be a codec problem. Or the file your trying to view might be in .ogm or .mkv format.

Whatever the problem is, VideoLAN players might fix your problem, as it works with ALL video extensions from my experience.

About the firewall, you might try to open a port for your BT client instead of turning your firewall entirely off. The port numbers that BT should work best in are from numbers 6881 to 6999.

Oh, and your BT client should be listening on the port number that you opened yourself.

That was entirely off-topic.
I'm currently interested in an anime called Outlaw Star.

Posted by: blues 3 Dec 27 2005, 04:31 AM

I'll try that thanks. I just updated my torrent.

Posted by: Rhiannon Dec 27 2005, 05:34 AM

Right now I'm not really watching any anime. I am reading some manga right now, though. Chobits and Naruto. D:

I have a feeling that I'm going to start hating Naruto really soon, unfortunately...

Posted by: blues 3 Dec 27 2005, 05:54 AM

Now in days I usually might watch an hour or 2 of tv.

Posted by: valkan Dec 28 2005, 04:21 AM

http://www.animate.tv/pv/detail.php?id=pvd051215b for the final episode of Tales of Phantasia. Don't watch unless you've seen 1-3.

Is the ToP anime just parts from the game?
If it is, how far does it go?

Posted by: blues 3 Dec 28 2005, 04:30 AM

Thanks for the link.

QUOTE (Dr Sturm @ Dec 28 2005, 04:30 AM)

It's more of like a summery of the game. Lots of stuff is cut out, or changed.

Posted by: Dr Sturm Dec 28 2005, 05:29 AM

Does it go beyond the point in the game where you get Arche?

Posted by: valkan Dec 28 2005, 05:35 AM

The anime starts in Midgard. None of our favorite scenes from before hand are there.

By the way, if you want the anime, just ask Sara for the link.

Posted by: Dr Sturm Dec 28 2005, 05:58 AM

So, that would be after Arche joins your party?
Because that's about the time I stopped playing...

Posted by: valkan Dec 28 2005, 06:01 AM

Actually, it's quite a ways after Arche joins your party.

Posted by: Dr Sturm Dec 28 2005, 06:02 AM

Well, I guess it'll be a while before I see it then.

Posted by: blues 3 Dec 28 2005, 06:03 AM

If your into megaman x/the megaman x game thats coming out for psp check http://38.118.213.209/ykipjjntgw+/personal/x/xmacex/Day_of_Sigma_OVA_v2.avi out. Note- the language is in Japanese and its 142 MB (your call).

"Since I had no clue how to get the audio file, I was reduced to using the audio from the recorded version of DoS previously posted. So in the end, I had to do a little bit of re-synching. It came out pretty good for the most part. You should'nt notice anything being terribly off. I'm not saying I got it perfect, but it's good."

All thanks (and quote) goes to SaydeWindsaur of Gfaqs and someone else who's name sayde forgot.

Tell me what you think.

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 28 2005, 08:53 AM

hmm....out of all the Tales series, i've only even seen the cover of Tales of Eternia. can anyone tell me how was the anime, by any chance?

Posted by: Dr Sturm Dec 28 2005, 09:08 AM

The Tales series are games.
The Tales of Phantasia anime is based off of the game, Tales of Phantasia.

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 28 2005, 09:13 AM

that i know. but theres an anime for Tales of Eternia. and now Tales of Phantasia?

they're really squeezing money out of the tales.

Posted by: Leyviur Dec 28 2005, 10:07 AM

Eternia and Phantasia were both made years ago. It has nothing to do with the licensing of like five Tales games they've done recently.

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 28 2005, 10:21 AM

ah well.

say, no ones answered me yet. how is Tales of Eternia's anime?

i might want to buy the DVD version which they're selling in Carrefour...

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 28 2005, 03:58 PM

Tales of Eternia anime is okay... Somewhat predictable, wee enjoyable. Just don't expect too much.

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 29 2005, 02:45 AM

ooo. okay. then i won't buy it ^^

i still need to save up for DS2.

Posted by: valkan Dec 29 2005, 04:29 AM

You know what i'm looking forward too? THE DISGAEA ANIME.

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 29 2005, 05:05 AM

yeah!! i'd like to see that come about!!!

though i've never played the game ._.

the characters look good enough XD

Posted by: Chardes Dec 29 2005, 08:17 AM

Tales of Eternia had NOTHING to do with the game itself. >_> It's like some kind of sidequest, but doesn't exist in the game. Geez.

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 29 2005, 08:23 AM

heh. well, i have no idea how the anime is. so i guess i won't buy it XD

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 29 2005, 02:59 PM

My bro burn the disc~ ^.^ And yes, it has nothing to do with the game, though you'd see them going to Meredy's world at the end.

Oh no worries, there are no game spoilers.

Yarr, currently watching DN Angel. Dark is hot~

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 29 2005, 03:07 PM

XD

whats DN?

and i probably won't be getting the anime, anyways. i can't bear to sit there all day looking at moving pictures :\

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 29 2005, 03:31 PM

Hmm, if I'm not mistaken... DN stands for DeoxyriboNucleic.

And well, I rather buy the mangas, but it costs a lot if you're planning to follow the series. ><'

Posted by: Marionette Dec 29 2005, 07:25 PM

I like the art in DN Angel, I enjoyed the Tales of Eternia anime but only because I was a big fan at the time. XD It was pretty fanservice-y and odd.

Posted by: valkan Dec 29 2005, 08:40 PM

As far as fanservice goes, it was actually quite lean.

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 30 2005, 05:36 AM

deuxyribonucleic acids.

DNA.
strange.

DN Angels sounds like genetically made angels.

hmm......i should get a psx emulator D:

Posted by: blues 3 Dec 30 2005, 05:38 AM

I should try my bit torrent now...Swiyth, your going to use a PLAYSTION emulator?

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 30 2005, 05:40 AM

i WANT to.

that means it'll be sometime before i actually get one :\

besides, it ain't that urgent.

Posted by: blues 3 Dec 30 2005, 06:46 AM

I only watch saturday anime. Does anyone know where Inuyasha went?

Posted by: Swifty-chan Dec 30 2005, 01:22 PM

Which part? I follow the manga series, and it's soooo long. About the 44th book now (chinese version).

And yeah, DNAngel's art is niiice~ X3 I was instantly in love with Dark and the blonde hair dude at the beginning.

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 30 2005, 02:55 PM

oo. i've got to see that.

well, i don't really like Inuyasha. it just screams something strange XD

Posted by: blues 3 Dec 30 2005, 10:30 PM

I'm kindy iffy about it myself...I think I'll watch some other adult swim animes.

Posted by: Liger Dec 31 2005, 04:30 AM

<.< Inuyasha is very repetitive. Summary of events: Kagome and Inuyasha get jewel shards, Kagome gets pissed at Inuyasha, they make up, they chase after Naraku, they get more shards, they get pissed at eachother again.... at least thats all I got outta it...

Posted by: valkan Dec 31 2005, 04:39 AM

Multiply Those who hunt Elves by 4, and you get Inuyasha.

But Those who hunt Elves is MUCH better.

*Runs*

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 31 2005, 08:30 AM

i don't think its as bad as DragonBall Z

I R TEH MIGHTY PRINCE OF SAIYANS.

YOU SUXXORS!! I R TEH STRONGEST SHIET!!

NO KIDDING, DUDE?

then the prince goes and rants about how strong he is and gets his ass kicked. then goku saves him and he gets pissed. then they make lovely love and they forget about that incident.

this repeats itself over and over again until the end.

Posted by: Dr Sturm Dec 31 2005, 08:37 AM

There's an end of DBZ?

Posted by: Swiyth Dec 31 2005, 11:10 AM

yes there is. but it leads to another era of dragonball. and that end usually leads to another.

in the manga, Majin Buu dies and Goku su...i mean. he gets an apprentice.

then it leads to DB GT

another whole new world of stupid-ness and ass combining.

Posted by: valkan Dec 31 2005, 05:07 PM

I tend to stay away from cash cow anime by nature, because DBZ ruined it all for me.

Usually they fill an episode with staring and flashbacks, nothing that actually advances a plotline.

Posted by: Liger Dec 31 2005, 11:37 PM

I liked Dragonball, but it all sucked after Goku or whatever his name is (haven't watched it for a looong looooong time) grew up.

Posted by: Swiyth Jan 1 2006, 04:12 AM

yeah. it was funny before he grew up. and it had quite a suitable amount of mashing :\

but after he grew up, it was all "oh i was beaten up again! i will now grow another level in super saiyan levels to beat him up!!" then this process repeats all over again. :\

Posted by: Liger Jan 1 2006, 03:00 PM

...after he grew up, just about every single (main-ish) charactor had arms, legs, and over-all muscles like logs and boulders...

Posted by: Swiyth Jan 1 2006, 04:29 PM

LOL. yeah

not to mention that later on, they just keep on going about how strong they wannabe even when they "can destroy the world in one attack"

Posted by: Liger Jan 1 2006, 08:08 PM

Yeah. Well.. maybe. I dunno. I never really watched past where Vegetable (Vegeta, whatever) got introduced.... D:

Posted by: valkan Jan 2 2006, 12:01 AM

Any more speak of Faggotball Z will earn my wrath.

SO who's gonna watch the Disgaea Anime!? It's a redundant question, but I MUST know.

Posted by: Dr Sturm Jan 2 2006, 12:05 AM

I will.
If just to see how Disgaea goes to Disgaea 2.

Posted by: valkan Jan 2 2006, 03:08 AM

Well it's gonna air in just a few months. According to http://akaitsuki.net/topics.html#20051228, it's been given a loose release date of the spring. It will be directed by Kiyotaka Isako, and the character design is by Akira Kano.

Isako had his hand in Comic Party, Maze, a few pokemon movies, and Virgin Fleet. Kano had his hands in Detective Conan: The Fourteenth Target, Digimon, Hoop Days, Initial D: Fourth Stage, Street Fighter 2 the series and the movie, the first Tenchi movie, and Urusei Yatsura: Always My Darling.

EDIT: Oh I forgot something cool! The anime is going to be produced at Oriental Light and Magic, the same company that did the Berserk anime series and the Shin Angyo Onshi movie.

Posted by: Swiyth Jan 2 2006, 05:57 AM

aw man. i hope Disgaea The Anime comes to Malaysia....i've always wanted some nice anime to see for once :\

Posted by: Dr Sturm Jan 2 2006, 06:02 AM

Why would it need to "come to malaysia"?
You seem to know English, are you not going to download it?

Posted by: Raijinili Jan 2 2006, 07:48 PM

Silly Sturm. Malaysians don't speak English. They speak sign language.

Whenever I go there, they only understand me if I'm waving my arms around and screaming.

Posted by: Liger Jan 2 2006, 07:50 PM

Disgaea Anime?! -slow-

I will download it somewhere when it comes out.

Posted by: blues 3 Jan 3 2006, 04:24 AM

What is this "Disgaea" anime.

Posted by: Swifty-chan Jan 3 2006, 08:13 AM

Disgaea is a PS2 game. I'm definately going to download it when it comes out~ X3

And not all Malaysians are like that, Raijinili... =_='

Posted by: Swiyth Jan 3 2006, 08:20 AM

well, i don't want to downloads it cause it takes a long time and i'm reserving my space for games. a series of anime is extrememly painful to have on a computer who has partitioned half of its original space @_@

plus, i'm going to have to wait for the subs. disgaea anime ain't gonna come out in english ._.

AND RAI, WHO YOU CALLING A SIGN LANGUAGE USER?! I'LL SHOW YOU THE INTERNATIONAL SIGN NEXT TIME I SEE YOU IN MALAYSIA >:D

Posted by: Swifty-chan Jan 3 2006, 08:25 AM

Gee, you could always burn the animes into a disc.

Posted by: Swiyth Jan 3 2006, 08:30 AM

just that my burner sucks XD

the files will dissappear after a month or so. really frustrating. the CD, though it can be something expensive and highgrade, would have missing info after a week or two. really time and money wasting.

Posted by: blues 3 Jan 3 2006, 08:31 AM

Your going to download a game onto a disk? How?

Posted by: Swifty-chan Jan 3 2006, 08:36 AM

ahh.. i wouldn't blame it on japan really, you would rather blame it on the creator of that show, b/c they might be a nerd/sissy or however you may put it. They just might had no luck when they were young and writing story lines like that makes them feel better >.<

Posted by: Swiyth Jan 4 2006, 09:58 AM

*snicker*

that means alot of men in japan never get their girl they way they want and they're always damned horny and "heroic"

oh god, come on, man. Japan is a country filled with story writers. some suck, no doubt and no surprise. its only one in a million that an actually appear anywhere without getting a dissing from Ash.

oh geez, you may not like it, but i'm sure some "sissy japanese boy" would see those kinda stuff.

oh, by the way, blues, the cloth of the glove Roy is wearing is called Ignition Cloth. it doesn't exist in this world. but you can always try attaching two pieces of flint on a glove and rub it together to get a spark.

I also finished off Gundam Seed (YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) now on to Destiny XD and possibly its rumour on the third SEED series.

Posted by: valkan Jan 5 2006, 09:04 PM

GSD is crap. Don't bother.

Posted by: Oyasumi Jan 6 2006, 02:08 AM

yeah, you had rather watch the old series rather than the new one, the possible new one that might be so popular like naruto and bleach is going to be Fate Stay Night, or something like that >.<

well everyone been talking about how great that is going to be..

Hajime no ippo

So many have already said that val but I can't agree yet, though I've read and spoiled myself to the synopsis of the last eps
(I couldn't care if I spoiled myself), but there is one thing I'll agree on

GS>GSD XD

The story in the beggining of GSD was actually good in the beggining but they F**K it up at the end. Oh well, I'm still gonna watch it XD

And its been confirmed that there is a third seed by sunrise themselves, or should I say there 'could' be a third seed. It better be good though "IF" there is a third seed XD

BTW blues, you could buy the DVD or download it, but I assure you its a good series ^^

Posted by: Swifty-chan Jan 6 2006, 10:47 AM

Angel Tails is sooooo... bah, I can't find a proper word to express my disgust. I will never ever watch animes with lotsa girls and 1 boy! It's just so cliched! And with all the girls calling the hero "master~!"...

*shudders*

Posted by: valkan Jan 6 2006, 04:32 PM

Or in Fruits Basket where its a bunch of guys and 1 girl.

REMEMBER THE SMURFS? THERE WAS ONLY ONE FEMALE SMURF IN THAT WHOLE VILLAGE!

*Back on topic*

After episode 9 of Gundam Seed Destiny, I just couldn't watch anymore. GS was new and revolutionary, GSD was hackneyed and featured one of the whiniest angst filled characters ever.

Well I finally found the torrent for the movie.

Hmmm....Agreed.

And whats Shin Angyo Onshi about?

Posted by: valkan Jan 7 2006, 04:11 AM

Copy and pasted, yo:

"After wandering through the desert for days, a bitter warrior named Munsu is lost and unable to continue. His life is unexpectedly saved by Mon-ryon, a young man who dreams of becoming a secret agent for Jushin, a once-great country that was recently destroyed. Mon-ryon`s goal is to save his girlfriend, Chunhyan, a born fighter who is held captive by the evil Lord Byonand. Then, from out of nowhere, blood begins trickling from his chest. He has been fatally wounded by the Sarinjas, a cannibalistic breed of desert goblin. The quick-thinking Munsu convinces these beasts to spare his life, in exchange for the peaceful handover of Mon-ryon`s appetizing corpse. Although skeptical of Mon-ryon`s motives, Munsu sets out to continue the mission that the young idealist described. Accompanied by an army of ghost troops, unleashed using the powers of Angyo Onshi, Munsu liberates Chunhyan. After visiting her boyfriend`s final resting place, she declares herself Munsu`s bodyguard and, together, they set out on a mission to punish those who stripped Jushin of its original glory."

Posted by: Oyasumi Jan 8 2006, 02:30 AM

So.. anyone thinking on giving up on anime?

yeah the other guy was right,

Japan and their sissy boy, those kind of shows where nerds gets hot girls are just shiit..

http://randomc.animeblogger.net/

Enough of those kind of romance show for me, i had enough of those -.-

Posted by: valkan Jan 8 2006, 04:16 AM

Everytime I hear that, I think about all the good shows I've watched, and say "Nah".

Some shows I thought were gonna suck actually turned out to be pretty fun to watch, like Eyeshield 21 and Aquarion.

I've seen my share of disappointments too, like the Air movie, or Naruto's recent string of filler episodes. (At least I still have the manga -_-)

Zettai Shonen turned out to be a pretty good drama, Da Capo's good for those harem types -_-.

None of those shows really have a stereotypical character as the main one.

I'm watching that too. I love the story of the game... Hopefully the anime will be as good.
Otherwise... I have a bunch of stuff I downloaded/bought that I haven't quite finished yet... Mainly various Gundam series, Sailor Moon, Aura Battler Dunbine, and Violinist of Hameln.

Posted by: Anubimon Jan 15 2006, 04:28 AM

Type-Moon is apparently getting more involved with the direction of Fate than they were in Tsukihime. They seemed to have realized their mistake, hopefully.

I guess I might as well post.

KKM - Finished. Hated the last two episodes, LOVED all the rest. Although, it ended ironically comical. I guess it's okay.
Utewaremooarhindamoe - Or whatever it's called. Through episode three. Good so far.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - I don't completely know what to think of it. It's both funny and depressing. And a bit unsettling.
Fate/Stay Night - It's getting kind of cheesy...

Posted by: chrishawke Apr 29 2006, 02:56 AM

You have to admit the scene where Mamoru laid a huge A-bomb on the Tasuke was jaw-dropping.

Since I said something, I might as well stay on topic.

Ar Tonelico - Looks interesting.
Ergo Proxy - LIL MAYOR DIED!!
Fate/Stay Night - Looks like anything can happen from this point.
Makai Senki Disgaea - I don't know why I'm still clinging on to this.
Pani Poni Dash! - Fansub group Oyasumi experiencing technical difficulties.
Petopeto-san - No comment.
School Rumble 2nd Term - Harima x Yakumo
Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, The - Nagato = Alien = Awesome
xxxHOLiC - Supernatural.

Posted by: Dr Sturm Apr 29 2006, 03:05 AM

Is Ar Tonelico going to have more episodes?
Because damn it was lame. Although, Orica was hawt.
And why the hell was his name translated as Laina? It seems like it would be Rainer... But I could be wrong. Though my ego suggests otherwise.

And Nagato = fucking awesome.

You're obviously not watching it with the right expectations.

Posted by: paperweight Aug 26 2006, 06:20 AM

What are the right expectations?

I went into it without any expectations. The animation makes it feel very childish and messy, but it's quite the opposite. It's very mature and bores into situations that i think many people deal with everyday. Very real, in a sense, at least with some of the issues that certain characters deal with. i think its very intelligent actually but its also really funny. ^_^ It's great! Maybe that's a little too much explanation... oh well.

I just finished Kyoushirou to Towa no Sora...so...that means I'm not watching anything and need to pick up another one.

Posted by: Shadow Mar 24 2007, 12:20 PM

Started watching Zone of the Enders: Dolores, i.
I'll probably download Last Exile when I finish this.

Posted by: Lord Rasler Mar 26 2007, 09:41 PM

I know i said that Sturm, but why even bring it up? I made that comment on the basis that every other person who commented on it was right in saying i sucked. If one or two people said there liked it, maybe i would have taken time to watch it. But if everyone hated it, why the fuck would i waste my time.

Posted by: aerozero Apr 14 2007, 07:24 PM

Shining Tears X Wind, I don't think it takes place during the games, it might be a prequel or an AU, the art is nice, dunno about the story yet.

Posted by: Desu Apr 14 2007, 07:27 PM

Hm, I'm currently waiting for the Tales of Symphonia to be released :( Such a long way.

In the meantime, Shakugan no Shana...mainly.

It isn't out until August 2007. <.<
There was Tales of Phantasia OVA, it was O.K. But there wasn't enough Suzu... =(

I'm watching, well actually now waiting, on Nanoha StrikerS. I hate having to wait for them to air, then get subbed. :<

It's alright so far, the show just started airing this month and Kyuu fansubs just picked it up and released the 1st episode today. I accidentally downloaded the RAW of Episode 2, and its ending left me wanting to see episode 3. You would probably like it Lord Rasler.

I watched the opening again and it seems like all the characters from the game is in the anime, so far the main characters only met Mao, the Cat Girl.

Posted by: Aekari Apr 15 2007, 06:44 AM

Yay for Shakugan no Shana.

I still haven't found anything to watch...I'm kinda interested in Le Chevalier D'eon, though.

Posted by: Lord Rasler Apr 15 2007, 10:27 PM

*jumps up and down*

YAYAYAYA! Sweet, i gotta check it out^_____________^ I loved to characters from the game, not so much the game play. Only Mao so far? Well, whatever. So where can i go on the web to find it? Or is it out in stores?

I started watching D.N Angel again....

Nanoha StrikerS, Venus Versus Virus (last ep coming up D:), Hidamari Sketch, Hayate no Gotoku! and Lucky Star for a good laugh.

It seems there's going to be a 2nd season of Shakugan no Shana (YAY) and Zero no Tsukaima (yay)

Can't wait... *___*

Happily found Spiral at my local library and decided to rent it. I've been wanting to see it since forever. ^_^ Mmmm, Eyes is sexy. *hit by Rau-sama* Hey, I'm just noticing! You're still my one and only bishie!

Also enjoying Blood+, Bleach, and Eureka Seven on Adult Swim. (I really hate how many people are psycho fans of Blood+ but have never even seen the original Blood film.) Eureka Seven was freaking awesome on Saturday. That has got to be the only time EVER that an anime I'm watching has made me so happy I cried.

DOMINIC/ANEMONE FTW PEOPLE. <3

Posted by: Dr Sturm Apr 16 2007, 06:04 PM

Blood+ is boring. The movie was okay.

Zombies. That's all I'm watching, since I'm avoiding the Blue Dragon and Symphonia anime. I don't know the real name.

Bleach epi 121

Gundam Seed Destiny.
Pedro's making me watch it.

Be prepared for recycled scenes Marionette, you'll be seeing a lot of them.

Posted by: Lord Rasler Apr 16 2007, 11:08 PM

Thats the case in almost.....if not all of the gundam series. I still loved all of them, but not SD Gundam. That made me want to blow up my T.V.

I'm starting to watch Blood+ as well, I'm watching the 4th epiosde today.

I noticed it on the third episode I watched lmao. I'm like, what is this shit yo.

All the recycling aside, It's still a great anime. I think you'll love it.....................or maybe you won't

Posted by: aerozero Apr 16 2007, 11:20 PM

It's pretty bad in GSD, I don't recall seeing as much recycled scenes in GS and Gundam Wing, but I might be wrong, I haven't watched Gundam Wing in a very long time.

Watching the earlier episodes of Fate/Stay Night again, cause I didn't like the ending.

I liked GSD because the scenes where Kira owned every single person on the battlefield was so crazy...I recommend watching the Gundam Seed Destiny Special Edition Movies, which basically sums up the entire saga, which means not as much recycled scenes.

Posted by: Lord Rasler Apr 16 2007, 11:29 PM

I never watched GSD. I though it would ruin the greatness of GS. Too many of my friends said it wasn't as good.

Posted by: aerozero Apr 18 2007, 05:10 AM

Mobile Suit SD Gundam MKI series, it cracked me up so much, reminded me of .hack//GIFT.

Ah... I loved Seed ('cause that's where my bishie is from) but really, really hated Kira. I hated him almost as much as I hated Flay.

That list includes:
Rah Xephon
Air Gear
Ghost Stories( Funny as HELL)

Did I mention I'm watching Nanoha StrikerS? And right now seriously wanting a time machine because the series is picking up speed and getting uber interesting and...

I HATE WAITING A WEEK. >_<

Posted by: FlameSpark May 20 2007, 07:34 PM

Yeah, it's a bit annoying, just bear with it.

I'm waiting for the subs too.

Also watching Nagasarete Airantou...quite amusing :D

Posted by: Liger May 21 2007, 02:58 AM

Watching:
Darker than Black
Romeo x Juliet (The backgrounds-- S-so pretty D:~)
El Cazador de la Bruja

Posted by: Feral Phoenix May 21 2007, 03:48 PM

Romeo x Juliet looks really cute. I've seen some screens and icons, and now I wanna see it.

Watched the rest of Spiral. I -can't believe- they gave Kanone that ridiculous "Teahxun Aycksehnt". Jeez, even real-life Texans don't talk like that. I think.

Blood+ is getting interesting~~ And Bleach is getting more interesting too. ^_^ Momo is cute. Renji is love. AND I MISS YORUICHI.

Buuu, having Ghost in the Shell back on is nice but I WANT MY EUREKA SEVEN BACK. *pouts*

Posted by: Buddhu23 May 25 2007, 01:19 AM

Romeo x Juliet is absolutely gorgeous. Except, in the newer episodes, the animation looks rather strange.

Code GEASS is an anime that everyone should see. I got hooked while watching the first episode. People compare it to deathnote (I haven't seen it, so I can't say anything about it). Hmm...it's a mecha series, with an emphasis on on characters. It's very action-y, so it may not be for everyone. Seriously, I think more people need to know about this series.

Sola is by the writers of Da Capo (which I haven't seen) and AIR...becuase it has someone who worked on air, I was really looking forward to this one. I can't give a clear opinion on this yet, because it's quite shifty. What I mean is that it started out to seem like a rather slow-paced series, just a SoL type series. Then, all of a sudden, there's action and vampires and stuff. It's really cute so far, but it seems like it's going to have a sad ending.

Kanon - Even though this isn't a new anime this season, it's still pretty new. This is definitely one of the greatest anime made. The art is absolutely gorgeous, the music's pretty, the story is lovely and mysterious. It's another really sad anime, though.

Higurashi - Even this one is quite old, I just recently started watching it. I like this, it's very...well, a close word is mysterious. It's kinda creepy, though. I think it starts off great, but may get kind of...repetitive later on.

I'm sure there's more, but that's all for now.

That sorta expains why they slightly resemble characters from Da Capo (also some details on the character's clothes gave that feeling too).

I can say one thing about "sola", Yorito's chin is HUGE...ok, not that huge, but it kinda freaks me out when they do a close-up on him...

Yeah, I loved Kanon too, both versions!

But the 2006 remake was much more detailed (duh, it has 24 episodes after all), and it's not that sad...I've seen much sadder anime before, and Kanon has a good amount of "sad".

And Yuuichi in this Kanon is much funnier, all thanks to the legendary comments of Sugita Tomokazu (aka "Kyon" in Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, "Tsuchimi Rin" in Shuffle!, "Motosuwa Hideki" in Chobits).

Posted by: Buddhu23 May 25 2007, 03:24 PM

I never saw the original version of Kanon, but I heard it's really not that great. And yes, Yuuichi is hilarious in this version :D

Also, have you seen Da Capo? Is a good anime?

Posted by: chrishawke May 25 2007, 05:35 PM

I wanted to watch Code Geass, but I guess it must have slipped my mind.

Currently watching Lucky Star and Darker Than Black. Lucky Star reminds me of Azumanga Daioh's randomness and Pani Poni Dash's colorful cast of characters. It sure has quite a few fanservice with its references to Guile from Street Fighter and Tsukasa from .hack//SIGN. Not sure if I should keep this in my list to watch or not.

The first episode of Darker Than Black gave me a good impression. I must see more.

Posted by: Raijinili May 26 2007, 04:58 PM

Lucky Star also came from a four-panel comic strip.

Posted by: Ethereal Citizen May 28 2007, 04:29 AM

Currently watchhing Lucky Star and Black Cat, both good so far.
